00:00What will Indiana do with Kurt Cignetti?
00:03Love Kurt Cignetti.
00:05Kurt Cignetti has now become the Steve Spurrier and Nick Saban of college football coaches today.
00:12He gives you an attitude.
00:14He gives you direction.
00:15And most importantly, he gives you winning.
00:19That's what that guy has brought to Bloomington, Indiana.
00:22You know, I keep saying this story all the time about Indiana basketball and then Indiana football.
00:28Anytime somebody talks to me about Indiana, it's their hoop program.
00:33It's got nothing to do with their football program until this man showed up in Bloomington.
00:38I can't tell you how big of a storyline that was him coming from James Madison and going into Bloomington
00:47and him being able to turn that program around and not only turn it around,
00:52he basically turned it inside out and turned it into a national power.
00:57One of the greatest reclamation projects in the history of college sports is what they did in Bloomington with Kurt
01:07Cignetti.
01:08It's been remarkable.
01:09The story is everywhere.
01:11And by the way, what will be the encore this coming season for Indiana Hoosiers football?
01:16Are they going to be able to continue the trend?
01:18He brought 12 players in from James Madison.
01:21I can't wait to see that storyline.
01:23Ohio State, another story.
01:27Ryan Day, absolutely each and every single year is always on the hot seat when you're talking that program.
01:35That program has produced some of the best high school and college football prospects in the history of the draft.
01:42Every year, Ohio State players are now going in the first round like they did back in the day when
01:49we were at the U.
01:50Ohio State's season this year, that is without a doubt one of the absolute best rosters in all of football.
01:59They've got everything they need.
02:01Then you got Texas.
02:032026 is going to tell us a lot about a lot of college football teams this year.
02:08I happen to think that Steve Sarkeesian is one of the most overrated coaches in all of college football.
02:15Dude, you can't have all these five-star guys and not produce national championships.
02:22I mean, Mack Brown, when he was there, was bringing in some of the best talented kids around the country,
02:29and they were winning, and they were winning big, and they ended up winning a national championship.
02:34Sarkeesian has been now in Austin for almost 10 years, and he's got to win.
02:40That is a program that has more five-star kids than any program in the country.
02:47You can't be in Austin and not win national titles.
02:52Look, I don't know who's more overrated, Notre Dame or Texas.
02:57Every year we talk about these two, and every single year we talk about these two programs
03:03as being the preeminent programs in all of college sports.
03:06Well, dude, we haven't seen a national title in Indiana for Notre Dame since 1988.
03:13We've only seen one national championship since 1968.
03:18That was the Texas Longhorns, and we saw it with Mack Brown in the early 2000s.
03:23Those two programs, we talk about these guys like these guys are perennial winners.
03:29Hey, look, you've got to win national championships.
03:31You've got to put that national title on the trophy shelf for you to be considered a true national power.
03:39Texas has all the players that they need, and that's going to be one of the biggest storylines this year
03:45is how well they play.
03:47Same with Notre Dame.
03:48Look, hard not the root for Marcus Freeman.
03:53Absolutely love Marcus Freeman at Notre Dame.
03:56Marcus Freeman, without a doubt, one of the absolutely best coaches in all the country.
04:00And who would have thought he would have been an upgrade from Brian Kelly?
04:04Brian Kelly leaves for LSU.
04:06Brian Kelly goes down to Baton Rouge and thought he was going to win a national championship,
04:09and he actually even said that he was not going to be able to have the resources to convince him
04:14for them to be able to win a title.
04:16Well, that's changed.
04:17Make no mistake about it.
