00:06that Miami may join the Big Ten? What do you make of that?
00:10A couple things. First of all, what congressional lawmakers are trying to do to really make an
00:15impact on college sports and to change the way things are right now, I think is hugely important.
00:20I think it's an underreported story. People really need to look carefully at what's happened to the
00:25sport and where it's going. So that's big. But I think more broadly, Miami going to the Big Ten is
00:31massive. It gives the universe, in my opinion, it's a strong university. It's AAU. It's got
00:37championship pedigree. And I think it would have a massive recruiting advantage to be candid if it
00:44were to join the Big Ten. And I think that's making some of the bigger players in that conference a
00:48little nervous. But I've heard from the people that I know, it's certainly something that would
00:53be on the table. And I, for one, would be all for it.
00:57Think about it. It'd be the first time that Big Ten had a flag in the state of Florida.
01:03In the Graystead, Florida. Yep. Be massive. And remember this, too. And I say this respectfully.
01:11That's a school that can compete across the board. It's not just football. People think,
01:16ah, it's Miami football. Great. That's the standard bearer for the university. I'm telling you,
01:21the U would be competitive in a lot of sports. It would be great for the conference and great
01:27for TV, I think.
