00:32Casual beauty, maybe because
00:33she looks so good doing it, it comes so
00:36natural to her, maybe because
00:37she always has that poise,
00:40that posture, that
00:41focus and control. Yuki Kamifuku
00:44made her debut
00:45and defeated Wakana Uehara
00:48her first time in the Major League
00:49and immediately, everyone took notice.
01:01Making the MLW ring her own
01:04personal runway, will she add
01:05the featherweight title to her ensemble?
01:08And her opponent,
01:10from Niigata,
01:12Japan, she is
01:14the current reigning
01:16and defending MLW
01:19Women's
01:20World Featherweight
01:21Champion, the
01:23big kaiju
01:25Shoko
01:29Nakajima
01:35And now, devastating
01:37all that come before her
01:39trampling buildings
01:41and leaving
01:43wreckage behind her, the big
01:45kaiju, the largest
01:471.47 meter
01:49human I've ever seen
01:51and the World Featherweight Champion
01:53prepares for another defense
01:55She may not be large
01:57in stature, but
01:58in skill
01:59and certainly charisma
02:01she's one of the biggest
02:02you're going to find
02:03Look at this monster!
02:06She's defended
02:07that featherweight championship
02:09certainly here in the United States
02:11but also
02:11over in Japan
02:13the relationship with MLW
02:15and Tokyo Joshi Pro
02:16continues to grow
02:18and certainly Dallas
02:20loves Tokyo Joshi Pro
02:21as well
02:23Nakajima also
02:25holds one half
02:27of the
02:27Tokyo Joshi Pro
02:29Princess of Princesses
02:31Tag Team Championship
02:32with Hyper Misal
02:34that's the other championship
02:35you see across her shoulder
02:37Yeah, that's the next one
02:39at my sights
02:39once I heal up
02:41Really?
02:44I'd pay to see it
02:45just to watch and try
02:47Double Champion
02:48is Shoko Nakajima
02:51but it didn't protect her
02:54from Yuki Kamifuku's
02:56elitist attitude
02:57It was Yuki
02:59viciously attacking Shoko
03:01and hitting her with that
03:02The Gasco's holding now
03:04her very own
03:05featherweight title belt
03:07over the summer in Japan
03:09and Shoko has not
03:11forgotten about that
03:12but that shows you
03:13Kamifuku
03:14has a way to make a statement
03:16has a way to get inside
03:17her opponent's heads
03:20As a model
03:21of course she knows
03:22how to make a statement
03:22whether it's on the runway
03:24here in the ring
03:26backstage
03:26wherever she goes
03:28she has a presence
03:31She is
03:31and sometimes
03:32that can be intimidating
03:33and that can be daunting
03:34and so can the size
03:36as well
03:38Kamifuku I believe
03:395'8
03:40and has a tremendous reach
03:42and dexterity
03:43with her legs
03:44and that was what
03:45impressed so many the most
03:47at Summer of the Beast
03:48but what impressed me
03:49about Nakajima
03:50is her ability
03:51to change directions
03:52almost got a quick
03:53three count
03:54as the shoulders are trapped
03:56I don't think Kamifuku
03:57expected that he tripped up
03:58and outsmarted
03:59this early
04:00but notice the leg
04:01already playing a factor
04:04Nakajima
04:05stepped right on the toes
04:07as Kamifuku
04:08was going up top
04:09you mentioned that
04:10misdirection
04:10caught her off guard
04:12and
04:13now she's got her
04:14in control here
04:15and what impresses me
04:16the most about Nakajima
04:17is her ability
04:17to change directions
04:19her ability to use
04:20her size
04:21not as a detriment
04:22but as an advantage
04:23and notice how she
04:25puts so much emphasis
04:26into whipping in
04:28Kamifuku
04:29put all of her weight
04:29behind it
04:30to get that job done
04:31she knows how to
04:32make herself bigger
04:34and not just in
04:35certainly in her entrance
04:36and not just
04:37certainly on paper
04:38but in a fight as well
04:39yeah and there
04:40you can see her using her
04:42her small size
04:43to her advantage
04:44able to evade
04:48able to evade
04:49the much larger
04:50Kamifuku
04:50can't hurt
04:51that which you cannot catch
04:54Shoko charging in
04:55look at sunset flip
04:56well the question now
04:58is can she keep this up
04:59the whole time
04:59you know she's moving
05:00at a very fast pace
05:02well I think she can
05:04in terms of energy
05:05but maybe not
05:06as far as
05:07being able to keep
05:08control over
05:09Yuki Kamifuku
05:14couple of swings
05:15and a miss
05:15and oh
05:17literally caught her
05:18by the tail
05:22you can run
05:23and you can hide
05:24for so long
05:25Tom that's why you
05:26stopped wearing tails
05:27when you were in fights
05:28isn't it
05:31Shoko on the receiving end
05:33that's not the actual
05:35reason
05:35okay
05:38tell you what
05:38Dallas loves
05:39their Tokyo Joshi Pro
05:41live event here
05:42this past July
05:43in Dallas
05:44presented by Tokyo
05:45Joshi Pro
05:45what I understand
05:46was a record crowd
05:47for them
05:47and I can see the
05:49just intense focus
05:51from all these fans
05:52loving this matchup
05:53as well
05:54full extension of the
05:55leg
05:55from Yuki Kamifuku
05:57showing that leg strength
05:58showing that dexterity
05:59and oh
06:00these fans love
06:01the featherweight division
06:02and with Selena De La Renta
06:04the vice president
06:05of wrestling operations
06:06and wrestler operations
06:08recruiting top talent
06:09from around the world
06:10certainly
06:11we've seen only
06:13the best talent
06:14come in the door
06:15the latest of which
06:16of course being
06:17Shotsi Blackheart
06:20Shoko escapes
06:21to the outside
06:22it was Shotsi
06:23who came out
06:23and said she was
06:24impressed by Kamifuku
06:25said she lit the match
06:27that's going to set
06:28the division on fire
06:30but Nakajima
06:31may have other ideas
06:32in mind
06:32because she again
06:33out quickens
06:34her challenger
06:35I've been impressed
06:36by Kamifuku
06:37by Nakajima
06:39by Shotsi herself
06:41yeah
06:43Shotsi won her
06:44first matchup
06:45with a broken arm
06:46and you know
06:48she's watching this
06:49as well
06:49because
06:50she wants a featherweight
06:52title match
06:52and this match
06:53could dictate
06:53who that champion
06:55is when she gets there
06:57Nakajima
06:58a whirling dervish
06:59a spitfire of energy
07:00and as long as
07:02she keeps moving
07:02and keeps to the air
07:03she's got a way
07:04to take Kamifuku down
07:11charging in with a
07:13clothesline
07:15Nakajima
07:16has taken
07:17Kamifuku
07:18off her game
07:19screams here
07:20with her
07:21standing dropkick
07:23and that's one of
07:24Kamifuku's
07:25specialties
07:30perpetual motion
07:30I don't know
07:31how you can watch
07:31this and not be a fan
07:32of Nakajima
07:33into the cover
07:34for two
07:35she's really controlled
07:36this matchup
07:37so far
07:37she's been the one
07:38landing the majority
07:39of the offense
07:39and it's been
07:40Kamifuku
07:40who's been on the
07:42defensive
07:42I think the big
07:44advantage of Nakajima
07:45is a lot of people
07:45judge the book
07:46by the cover
07:47they look at the size
07:48or you know
07:48maybe the unusual
07:49outfit
07:50they make an
07:50assumption
07:50wait a minute
07:52Kamifuku
07:53able to slip
07:54between the ropes
07:54and come back
07:55with that
07:56that back kick
07:58through the air
08:00pinpoint precision
08:01between the eyes
08:02this could do it
08:06when Kamifuku
08:07can use her
08:08lower body
08:08she's very much
08:09in her wheelhouse
08:10and it's not
08:11just the strength
08:12of the kick
08:12it's the extension
08:13she gets as well
08:14looking famous
08:15serving a counter
08:16yeah the dexterity
08:17she has with her legs
08:18is tremendous
08:20step over the top rope
08:21and leap into a kick
08:22a second ago
08:25twisting elbow
08:26by the champion
08:27Nakajima actually
08:28used Kamifuku's
08:30leg there
08:30to control her
08:31and then land
08:31that spinning splash
08:32so
08:34and again
08:35up with the poison
08:36one more time
08:37she landed a
08:38head kick
08:39from the ground
08:40there Joe
08:41that's incredible
08:42I don't know
08:42if there's a place
08:43you can be
08:44in that ring
08:44where you're
08:45out of striking
08:46reach at the
08:46legs of Kamifuku
08:49measures her
08:50I'd like to see
08:51her take a shot
08:52at Gastineau
08:52if she could
08:55I don't think
08:55she'd want to be
08:56disqualified
08:56in the title fight
08:57but I get your point
09:02I think Shoko
09:03landed on the
09:04back of her head
09:04well no lack
09:05of upper body
09:06power
09:06and there's that
09:07drop kick
09:08and it's not just
09:09the leap
09:10the aim
09:10it's the extension
09:11of the legs
09:12the torque
09:12she gets on it
09:13and it nearly
09:14puts away
09:15Nakajima
09:15and crowns
09:16a new champion
09:16yeah you're gonna
09:17have the most
09:18power at that
09:19last whip
09:20of the extension
09:21right
09:21so Kamifuku
09:23did a great job
09:24of hanging out
09:25in the air
09:26getting the perfect
09:27distance
09:27and then burying
09:28those feet
09:29right to Nakajima's
09:30face
09:30and we'll see
09:32oh wait
09:32able to escape
09:33is Nakajima
09:34I was about to ask
09:35if Nakajima
09:36wanted to be the
09:37most fighting
09:38featherweight champion
09:39was going to come
09:40back to haunt her
09:41but now
09:42the fighting spirit
09:43of Nakajima
09:44comes out
09:44as she connects
09:45with the head scissors
09:46and the challenger
09:47needs a reprieve
09:49but may not be
09:51getting it
09:51Shoko Nakajima
09:53takes to the air
09:57he's seeking
09:58missile champion
09:59and challenger
10:00both hit their heads
10:01on a steel guard
10:02rail on the way
10:02down
10:06that energy
10:07didn't come back
10:08to haunt her
10:09it came back
10:09to carrier
10:10Joe
10:11yeah
10:12she's back
10:13on the offensive
10:13this elitist
10:15Kamifuku
10:16may only be
10:17one maneuver
10:18away
10:19from having
10:20to
10:21admit
10:21that
10:22Nakajima
10:23is at least
10:24her equal
10:25if not her superior
10:26let's say
10:26if Nakajima
10:27the big kaiju
10:28could successfully
10:29go high risk
10:33never out of the way
10:34of those feet
10:36standing on the bottom
10:37rope
10:38and caught Nakajima
10:39in the face
10:40on the top rope
10:42superplex
10:42from way high up
10:46my god
10:48Yuki's got about
10:49a 10 inch
10:50height advantage
10:53leg
10:53Larry
10:54connects
10:55and a near fall
10:57and you can see
10:58Nakajima comes up
10:59favoring that neck
11:00heavily
11:00it's been the focus
11:01of Kamifuku
11:02for the past
11:03several offensive
11:04exchanges
11:05she's had control
11:06every kick she lands
11:08whips the head
11:09of Nakajima back
11:10she was looking
11:10Manjika Tommy
11:11that applies pressure
11:12to the neck
11:13but a counter
11:13by Nakajima
11:14and now
11:15trapped the legs
11:15trapped her
11:16best asset
11:18but could not
11:18put her away
11:20oh
11:21just planted her
11:22spiked her
11:23with the head scissors
11:26Kamifuku
11:26just spiked
11:27Shoko
11:28Nakajima
11:30and again
11:31the
11:31the dexterity
11:33of the legs
11:34continues to come
11:35into play
11:36for the challenger
11:40wait a minute
11:42Nakajima
11:42looking to protect
11:43that featherweight
11:44title at all costs
11:45gets back in control
11:47the tiger feign kick
11:48connected the second time
11:53on a night
11:54we've got three
11:54titles to be decided
11:56one could change hands
11:58if Nakajima
11:59makes a mistake
11:59but she's got
12:00the leg hooked
12:01and Kamifuku
12:02still very much alive
12:08both these athletes
12:09have climbed the ranks
12:10in Tokyo Joshi Pro
12:12earned so much
12:13adulation
12:14Nakajima
12:15a bit more experienced
12:17we'll see if that
12:18plays a part
12:18looking for
12:19a double hundred
12:20back with a famous serve
12:22this could be
12:23her chance right here
12:24and that leg
12:24leaves nowhere to go
12:25new champion
12:26no
12:27oh
12:28we were half a second
12:29right away
12:29from making more
12:31international headlines
12:32you know the press box
12:34is full
12:35with photographers
12:37and reporters
12:38from all over the world
12:39covering this title fight
12:41and Kamifuku
12:42went for a super famous
12:44serve
12:44the champion
12:45wasn't there
12:50oh what a northern lights
12:52emphatic northern lights
12:55hangs on a second time
12:56textbook bridge
12:58she beats her
13:02here is your winner
13:03and still
13:06MLW
13:07women's world
13:09betterweight champion
13:11the big kaiju
13:14Shoko
13:15Nakajima
13:18once again
13:20you're talking about
13:20size differential
13:22Tom
13:22take us through
13:23the technique
13:23of this duplex
13:24you can see here
13:25Nakajima wrapping around
13:27the waist
13:27of the much taller
13:28Kamifuku
13:29getting her
13:30balance underneath
13:31able to turn her over
13:33with the northern lights
13:34bridge
13:34pin her down
13:35and get the victory
13:38some respect
13:40from the elitist
13:42doesn't come easy
13:45Nakajima
13:45continues to show
13:47size may be
13:49what you write down
13:49on a piece of paper
13:50but it can't measure
13:52the heart of the fight
13:53of a double champion
13:54across two continents
13:56that is Shoko
13:58Nakajima
13:59your winner
14:02whoo
14:03whoo
