00:05Big news coming in. The Jharkand High Court has put a stay on the cancellation of the JPSC examinations
00:12for which the protests had broken out in the state of Jharkand, especially in Ranchi.
00:17This is a big development, ladies and gentlemen. The Jharkand High Court has stayed the state
00:21government's order to cancel the JPSC examinations. Remember that Himansurain government, while
00:28saying that they cannot order a CBI probe, at least had gone ahead to cancel the examinations
00:35that were already held. But there were also multiple issues regarding that. There were
00:40those aspirants who had cleared the examination, even some of them had joined the employment
00:45opportunities that had come, and they were asking why should they suffer because of this
00:51controversy.
00:53So this is the latest coming in. The Jharkand High Court has now decided to put a stay coming
01:02in with regard to the JPSC examinations, which basically means, viewer, that the examination
01:08does not stand cancelled and that there should have been a re-exam, there should have been
01:12fresh dates, there should have been a decision on that. All of that is not happening right
01:17now. So what does this mean? Does this mean that the examination results will continue,
01:21there's not going to, or there's going to be perhaps further arguments on that. But this
01:25is the latest that is coming in, that the Jharkand High Court has decided to now go ahead and
01:32with the hearing that was on at the Jharkand High Court, that the examination will not be cancelled,
01:39or a stay has been put on the government order. Remember what had happened because of the JPSC
01:44examination results, that with the results, many had also got recruitment letters. There
01:51were vacancies in the government jobs that had been filled. And now of course, they have
01:56also decided to approach the court and plea to the court is why should we suffer and why
02:02when we cleared it on merit, should the examinations be cancelled. Remember massive protests had broken
02:08in and around Ranchi, even reaching the state secretariat, the assembly where the session was
02:15on. And they were demanding a stay on examination, cancel it, have a CBI probe, ensure that there
02:22is a complete transformation in the education system. So Sorain government finally, after days
02:27and weeks of that protest, had taken a decision to put a stay on the JSSE examination. In turn,
02:34the Jharkand High Court has put a stay on the cancellation of the JPSC-JSSE examination.
02:45That's the big news coming in, about what precisely is the statement that's coming in.
02:58We will continue to get you about what is the information. This is a developing story, ladies
03:01and gentlemen. And we will try and get you more clarity about what does this mean. Because
03:05does this mean that the protesters are now going to approach or the government could now
03:10approach the Supreme Court? What are the legal options that they are going to look at? Because
03:15this is where at least that had led to the conclusion of the protest that had happened.
