00:11treatment, according to CNBC. The mRNA-based vaccine combined with Merck's Keytruda extended
00:17the time melanoma patients live without their cancer returning compared with Keytruda alone.
00:22The treatment also reduced the risk of cancer spreading to distant parts of the body.
00:26The trial included more than 1,100 patients with higher risk or advanced melanoma whose
00:32detectable cancer had been removed through surgery. The companies will continue evaluating
00:37other outcomes, including overall survival. Merck and Moderna are also studying the vaccine
