First real time doing hip thrusts, loaded with just 45s on each side. The movement feels awkward since it's new, but I have a feeling this might actually be one of the best exercises for rehabbing my ACL leg.

Hip thrusts target the glutes and posterior chain in a way that could genuinely support knee stability and strength without putting the same direct pressure on the joint that exercises like leg extensions do. Still figuring out the form and getting comfortable with the movement pattern, but the early feel of it has me optimistic about adding this into the regular rehab and training rotation.

Sometimes the most awkward new exercise ends up being the most valuable one. Have you found an unexpected exercise that helped your own recovery from an injury?
