00:04beautiful beaches, rich culture and royal history come together to create the
00:09perfect getaway. Located just a couple of hours south of Bangkok, Hua Hin has
00:15long been a favorite destination for both locals and international travelers.
00:21Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach holiday or an adventure in nature
00:25this town offers something for everybody. In today's video we're going to be
00:29sharing the different neighborhoods of Hua Hin as there are so many diverse
00:33areas in this beautiful town with something for everybody. So if you're
00:38looking to stay here for an extended period of time you need to know which
00:42areas are best for you. But before we get into it guys if you find this video
00:47helpful in any way please like comment and most importantly subscribe. Currently
00:53around only 20% of our regular viewers are subscribed and we're trying to get that
00:58number up to 30% over the next few months. It's also the best way to support the
01:03channel and let us know you're interested in videos just like this. First up, Hua Hin
01:09Town Center. This is where all of the action happens. With plenty of markets and
01:16shopping you can't miss the Hua Hin Night Market. It's the perfect spot for some
01:21tasty street food and local crafts. With tons of cute little cafes and nice
01:27restaurants there's food for every craving. It's also home to Market Village
01:32Shopping Center which has just about everything you need from clothing to
01:36hardware to food and everything in between. For some cultural highlights check
01:42out the Hua Hin Railway Station. It's an amazingly beautiful building and has been
01:47around for a very very long time with some really cool history behind it. The
01:52Town Center is a great place to soak up the vibe and get everything you need
01:55right at your fingertips. If you're looking at a short stay in Hua Hin then Hua Hin
02:00Town Center could be the best place for you. One of the most popular places to
02:04stay in Hua Hin Town Center is La Casita Resort. Just a stone's throw away from the
02:10Town Center is Hua Hin Beach. This is the main beach area and a must visit for
02:16anybody coming to Hua Hin. This is also where most of the high-end hotels are
02:22located right on the beachfront. You can sunbathe, swim or even try out some
02:28water sports like jet skiing, stand-up paddleboarding and even kite surfing. For
02:33dining there are plenty of beachside bars and restaurants where you can grab a
02:37drink or some fresh seafood at any time of day. The beachfront comes alive at
02:42sunset making it the perfect spot for a romantic evening stroll.
02:46And if you want that classic beach experience, Hua Hin Beach is definitely
02:50where it's at. Next let's cruise down to Kau Takiab. This area is all about chill
02:57vibes and beautiful beaches. Kau Takiab Beach is a gem, less crowded and perfect
03:03for lounging around. It also turns into a surf hotspot during the winter months
03:08from January to April which is kind of surprising. When you're in Kau Takiab don't
03:13forget to check out the local temple. It's on a hill and has some stunning views
03:17of the city but just be careful of the monkeys. Guys I just want to give a quick
03:21shout out to Surfshark for sponsoring this video. One thing that we don't really
03:25show a lot of on this channel is all the behind-the-scenes stuff that we do like
03:30editing videos, uploading content and of course planning all of our trips. Now up
03:35until about 10 months ago we actually didn't have access to our own Wi-Fi
03:40because we were pretty much traveling full time. Which meant going to places
03:44like cafes or co-working places to get all of our work done which also meant
03:49logging on to public Wi-Fi. Now if you don't know public Wi-Fi is an absolute
03:55goldmine for hackers which is why for almost three years now we've been using our
04:00Surfshark VPN and still to this day even though we have our own Wi-Fi I never go
04:06online without first firing up the VPN. And just in case you don't know what VPN
04:11stands for it's Virtual Private Network. So basically it acts like a mask
04:16encrypting all of the data that gets sent between your computer and the
04:20internet so that no one can steal all of your sensitive information. But that's
04:25honestly just one reason we use Surfshark. The other reason is that it also
04:29lets us log on to servers from all over the world which means accessing streaming
04:34services from other countries that we can't usually get such as Hulu, HBO and
04:40Netflix. So don't leave yourself vulnerable to hackers any longer. Secure your
04:45privacy with Surfshark by clicking the link below to get four months extra. Now
04:51let's head over to Bintabart. This neighborhood is known for its vibrant
04:56street life and local culture. Here you'll find a mix of local and expat
05:00restaurants and bars making it a great spot for grabbing a bite and enjoying the
05:05nightlife. With some of the best hotels also located in Bintabart including the
05:11Hilton and the Standard. It's a favorite for anyone on vacation and is a lively area
05:16that attracts both locals and tourists. If you want to experience the local scene
05:21while staying in a great hotel Bintabart is definitely worth a visit. Next up is
05:27Soy 88 and this area is really starting to grow in popularity with a lot of
05:33developments happening. Here you'll find a mix of local eateries and some fun bars
05:38making it a great spot for nightlife. There's also a few small shops where you
05:42can pick up essentials. It's a laid-back vibe perfect for expats and locals
05:47alike. Although there's not as many hotels there are tons of affordable long-term
05:52rental options and Airbnbs on Soy 88 making it a popular area for expats to
05:58live. So if you're looking for a place with a bit more buzz but still keeping it
06:03casual Soy 88 is a solid choice. Next up is one of our favorites which is Soy 102
06:09another fantastic neighborhood that's super popular with expats. The area is packed
06:15with cute cafes and restaurants perfect for brunch or a chill dinner. You'll find
06:21heaps of convenience stores and local markets so you can grab whatever you need
06:25without going too far. It's a friendly place where you'll see a mix of locals
06:30and expats hanging out. Soy 102 is great if you want to be close to everything
06:35while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. Just a short drive to Blue Port Shopping
06:40Center and Bangkok Hospital it's probably the most convenient area to stay in
06:45Hua Hin. Next up is the bustling nightlife of Soy 94. This neighborhood is a hidden
06:52gem in Hua Hin. Located over the other side of the train tracks you'll find some
06:57amazing local restaurants here serving everything from traditional Thai to
07:01international cuisine and is probably the most lively area of Hua Hin during nights
07:07and weekends. There is also a few boutique shops and markets to explore and it's a
07:12friendly spot where you can easily strike up a conversation with locals at any
07:17time of day. If you're looking for a more local experience than say Bintabat or
07:22Kautakyab, Soy 94 is definitely worth checking out. Okay now let's head over to
07:29Hin Lek Faye. This neighborhood is known for its stunning views and natural beauty. You'll find
07:35some great lookout points where you can take in the views of Hua Hin and the ocean
07:40which is perfect for photos. There's some nice walking and hiking trails making it a
07:45great spot for outdoor enthusiasts as well as world-class golf courses and also an
07:51international school. It's a peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle ideal
07:56for those looking to unwind. If you love nature and want a quieter vibe then Hin Lek Faye is
08:03definitely worth checking out and it's also probably the most popular area for
08:08expats to live as developers are constantly working on new projects and
08:13there are definitely plenty of affordable housing options in the area. Finally
08:18let's talk about Kautau Beach, a little gem just south of Hua Hin. Kautau Beach is
08:24known for its soft sand and clear waters. It's a great spot for swimming and
08:28relaxing but also the best place in the area for kite surfing if that's your
08:32thing. Here you'll find some charming local restaurants along the beach serving
08:36fresh seafood all times of the day. The area is much quieter than Hua Hin's main
08:41beaches making it perfect for a peaceful day by the sea. If you're not
08:45interested in being around the crowds and enjoy a laid-back beach atmosphere, Kautau
08:50Beach is the place to be for you. So there you have it guys a quick tour of the
08:55neighborhoods of Hua Hin, each with its own unique vibe. So whether you're after a
