कांग्रेस नेता और लोकसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी ने पुणे में ‘छात्रों की गूंज’ कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए महिलाओं की स्वतंत्रता, अधिकार और पहचान को लेकर अपनी बात रखी। उन्होंने कहा कि देश की ताकत उसकी नारी शक्ति है और महिलाओं को केवल बेटी, पत्नी या मां की भूमिका तक सीमित नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि महिलाओं की अपनी स्वतंत्र पहचान और अधिकार हैं। उन्होंने पितृसत्तात्मक सोच पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि लड़कियों की पढ़ाई, नौकरी और स्वतंत्र आवाजाही को लेकर समाज में अब भी कई तरह की बंदिशें हैं। कार्यक्रम के दौरान उन्होंने छात्राओं और महिलाओं को मंच पर बुलाकर उनकी समस्याएं सुनीं और उनसे संवाद किया। राहुल ने महिलाओं की संपत्ति में हिस्सेदारी, शिक्षा, रोजगार और आत्मनिर्भरता जैसे मुद्दों पर भी चर्चा की। उन्होंने कहा कि महिलाओं को किसी पर निर्भर रहने के बजाय अपने फैसले खुद लेने और स्वतंत्र जीवन जीने का अधिकार होना चाहिए।
