00:00Alright, so the Royals are probably out of it, but it's seemingly like finishing their season strong, or did they
00:05just get the A's this week? I guess that's the question that we have to ask, because they were down,
00:10by the way, against the A's a couple times and came back to win because the A's can't get anybody
00:14out after the fifth inning, but neither can the Royals, and they held court. How about that? Royals bullpen? One
00:19of the worst in the American League, got it done, and then they won the series against the Tigers, too.
00:24Well, ironically enough, the Royals, I think, are only like seven games back or six games back of the wildcard
00:29because the American League is just so bad. Yeah, I guess I should say I'm not that surprised. I think
00:36at the end of the season, the Royals probably play very well. They just buried themselves early on, Tom. That's
00:42been the issue with them.
00:43When I saw this series upcoming for, you know, earlier in the week when I saw the series for the
00:48Royals, and I saw the news, I was like, okay, Vinny P's coming off the IL. You know, then after,
00:54throughout the series, Michael Garcia went back on the IL. I was like, okay, Vinny P came back. I was
00:59like, they're playing the A's. I was like, you know what this matters for? This matters for people in fantasy
01:03leagues.
01:03Like, you're coming down to the end. You're in the playoffs. You're about to start the playoffs where I was
01:06like, you get Bobby Witt and Perez and Caglione and now Vinny P back.
01:11You're like, now this is the offense that people who drafted these players, this is what they bought into. Now
01:16you're going to get some enjoyment out of it, and they'll just help you push towards the postseason for your
01:20fantasy leagues or whatever it is.
01:21They're taking care of business. They're taking care of the Tigers, which is a little bit surprising because the Tigers
01:25were actually a little bit hot over the past 14 days or so.
01:28Again, this is just a product of the teams that are in front of them. They're beating up on bad
01:33teams and credit them for doing so, but have some fun with the Royals in their lineup to end the
01:38season.
01:38That's all I can say. If they're hitting and they stay healthy, we know what Bobby Witt can do. We
01:43know what Jack Caglione can do with the power that he has.
01:45And if Vinny P's back and Perez is still there, like, have one last go at things and put up
01:49some runs.
01:50Yeah, and I would say, you know, the general manager, J.J. Piccolo. I would also say Matt Quartar, their
01:57manager.
01:58I mean, in the end, this is the player's fault, but I am just not sure what's going to happen,
02:03Tom, in Kansas City after the season because, to your point, if they play very well down the stretch and
02:09they play well and sort of finish on a run, maybe everybody stays and everybody's safe.
02:14I am a little concerned that the Royals, for those guys there, and even the coaching staff, that they take
02:19a look internally and say, hey, we can't go into a season next year after losing 90 games this year.
02:25That's not possible. So we will see what the Royals decide to do.
