German economy grows faster than estimated as exports rebound

Europe's biggest economy expanded by more than expected between April and June, driven by strong exports, despite the disruption caused by the Iran war. Business sentiment also improved across every major sector.

00:00Germany's economy grew more than previously expected in the second quarter, with GDP rising
00:050.3% from April to June.
00:09The revised figure from the Federal Statistical Office was higher than the initial estimate
