00:08$28 billion in Canadian goods.
00:12Those tariffs will have real consequences for Canadian workers, businesses and communities
00:19across our nation.
00:22Canada must respond.
00:23And today we are in a proportionate, targeted and strategic way.
00:31Today I am announcing that Canada will match the United States tariffs dollar for dollar,
00:36rate for rate.
00:39Effective September 8th, Canada will impose counter tariffs of up to 15, 25 or 50 percent
00:47on $27.6 billion in imports from the United States of America.
00:53For each product, our tariff would match the American tariff on the same type of Canadian
