00:38keeps waving at us on the patio it's adorable because idle hands in malden is a is a total like
00:43family type place um but dad do you remember my first edition of can check was actually
00:48not here at idle hands but it was with idle hands you remember that with i got hands that's correct
00:53i was at the beer garden over in uh and at the bb estate in uh in in in melrose
00:59because idle hands
01:00pours there throughout the summer uh and i said there i said i'm starting with idle hands because
01:05they're my favorite place and i'm not lying this is episode seven and i'm already back at idle hands
01:10again like they're my favorite local brewery and before that we played live music there many many
01:14years ago that's right we did very good good memory on that so i'm not i'm being legit when i

01:19about idle hands and malden it's my spot but it's my first time bringing you here it is i'm looking
01:25forward to uh sampling the tasty beer here which i was gonna read it yeah what did you get so

01:35hella's lager uh bavarian golden lager uh uh uh kind of brewed in that uh in that uh tradition
01:41kind of like a you know like a german lager style are you enjoying it so far i am so

01:46fantastic um i went with the brewer's select which is a german pills uh 100 noble hops simple
01:53grain build um i'm telling you this uh and you know this is true because you know i've been coming
01:59here for so long and i've been taking the beers over and i know when you're lying to me i

02:03dad after all um i i've never had something at idle hands that i haven't enjoyed wow and this is

02:09this is no exception this is my first time the brewer's select so let's have a little cheers

02:21uh one of the things that i talk about there is how much they do for the community here in
02:26malden
02:27um i've volunteered with them to do like the malden river cleanup uh right the malden watershed
02:32uh association and all that and uh another thing that i have a river running on us right now right
02:36across the street it's right across the street underground uh and then above grounds and uh and
02:41they've taken great uh pains in recent years to uh do what they can to clean it up so you
02:47can look
02:47that up and and volunteer if you're in the area and uh when you're done you can come over here
02:52and
02:52drink beer that's right that's kind of the point and if you come here on the third thursday of the
02:56month which is what this is you can play cribbage because it's cribbage night and uh you taught me
03:02how to play cribbage when i was i don't know a teenager maybe a preteen yeah preteen i think so

03:08when did you learn how to play cribbage i learned how to play cribbage from my mother okay who was

03:13tremendous card player yeah she taught me all the rules and how to play all right so we're going to
03:19play some cribbage and we're going to drink some beer and we're going to uh we're going to tell you
03:23to do the same uh make it a point of coming to idle hands on the third thursdays for cribbage
