00:00But, Greg, you know, you spent a long time editing magazines, writing for magazines.
00:03As you know, any time you write a list, it's the most controversial thing.
00:09Yeah, you can just grab anybody's attention.
00:12I'm sure CNN right now is trying to find a psychic and a Ouija board to interview dead presidents over
00:20this list.
00:22But I think Trump made a huge mistake here.
00:24He's addressing the past presidents and not future ones.
00:27He needs to make clear that he is not only the best in what already happened, but will be the
00:33best of what will ever be.
00:36I think he really sold himself short.
00:39By the way, no one else is going to do this, so why not do it?
00:42You know, we've got to remember, when you hear the word historian, you think some kind of crusty, well-respected
00:49person.
00:49No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:51They're just old liberals.
00:53They're just a cluster of bold-faced names who are guilty of plagiarism, fabricating citations.
01:01Their factual errors are countless because nobody counts them.
01:07The people who certify the official history are drawn from a profession that is uniformly politically lopsided.
01:14We know this, so history and media is self-reinforcing, and they're rewarded for a moralistic tale of history that
01:22is almost never true.
01:24You never get what happened.
01:26And I know this now, being on this planet for, you know, 40 years.
01:31History sits in the humanities department.
01:33It's the conservative to liberal ratio is like 1 to 99.
01:37The faculty is uniformly left.
01:40When they say historians agree, it's because they all vote one way.
01:45So why not do this?
01:46Why not stick a finger up their ass and make them scream?
01:49By the way, Trump is doing a lot of things.
01:51This is fun.
01:52But him doing the Space Force is huge.
01:54Space Academy.
01:55The Trump accounts.
01:56The drug prices.
01:58Maha.
01:59Venezuela.
02:00Iran.
02:01TBD.
02:02You can agree that he might not be the greatest president ever, but no one has hit the ground running
02:09and done so much, not just identifying problems with the country, but actually saying, let's do something about it, as
02:18opposed to Democrats tearing things apart with no solution, Jessica.
02:24Without a doubt, most consequential.
02:25Most consequential in the history of all world leaders since the beginning of time, except for the great Jesus Christ.
02:33Shannon.
02:34None whatsoever.
02:35Shannon, watching him interact with the astronauts, it's kind of magical to watch.
02:42It is fun because you can see his real personality and how much he wants to have this interaction with
02:47them, admires what they do.
02:49And, you know, it's hard to impress him.
02:51So you have these astronauts flying around and he's like, listen, you guys are brave and that's really cool.
02:55And I think as far as the list is concerned, if you love and support this president, you would be
03:00so disappointed if he did not put himself first.
03:02You would expect that he would.
03:04But I also like to picture him sitting around like, oh, I cannot wait to drop this list and watch
03:10heads explode because he really enjoys doing that.
03:12And I can imagine that he was like, all right, who's going to be the first person to do the
03:16stuff that Greg is talking about, to go out there and be like, how dare he do this list?
03:18So I think he's really going to enjoy watching the rollout of the list.
03:22And I think he really enjoys being down there in Texas where he's going after Tallarico as well, which we
03:26can talk about.
03:27Which historian are we going to see on CNN or MSNOW tonight?
03:29It's already, I'm sure it's already happening right now.
03:31It's not going to wait.
03:32I really can't wait.
03:33It's not going to wait for tonight.
03:34I'm sure it's probably already happening.
03:35Douglas Brinkley.
03:36It's probably already happening right now.
03:37But he's good at that kind of stuff.
03:40He's good at the Tallarico stuff because he has a villain.
03:44And listen, he's so engaged.
03:46The GOP loves him on the campaign trail because they feel like he's their best messenger.
03:50And when he has something like this to have this opponent, kind of this foil to go back and forth
03:54for, I think you see how much he enjoys being out there.
