00:00The Miz's last start, they went up 4-0, and then that's like game over for Milwaukee.
00:06You saw Mizorowski's last three starts.
00:08They took him out early.
00:09They didn't even need him.
00:1018 innings pitched, 1.50 earned run average, 18 strikeouts, 5 walks.
00:15I mean, that's the only navigating, I think, at this point, Tom, the Brewers are doing
00:18is they're probably going to limit some innings here down the stretch
00:20knowing that they're headed to the postseason.
00:22And I'm guessing that that bye is really important to them.
00:26I don't know that it's as important to Atlanta, per se.
00:29Atlanta had the bye a couple years ago, and then first round got knocked out.
00:33I think they don't care.
00:34But I think for Milwaukee and L.A., it's going to mean a little more for those two.
00:37Yeah, and just the volume of innings that Mizorowski has pitched this year
00:41is significantly higher than we had last year.
00:44So, again, I think this is, to your point, this is the spoils of riches.
00:48When you have this lead that they have in the NL right now, which is the NL Central,
00:53which is sitting at eight games over the Cubs because the Cubs took a little bit of a step back,
00:56and they're in line for the bye.
00:58It's like they can kind of ease off the gas on some of these pitchers and say,
01:01okay, yeah, he's pitching great.
01:03He's at 85 pitches through six.
01:04He could absolutely go out there for seven and get me to 100 pitches
01:07and get through the inning, but there's no reason to do so.
01:10So let's just ease off an inning here or there, you know, preserve his arm,
01:13and they'll be ready to roll come October 1st.
