01:41is that teams are just being very careful with Alvarez at this point like he's not seeing the same pitches
01:46that he was earlier in the summer uh I would absolutely agree with that like Alvarez he's not
01:52playing bad he's also just not putting a lot of counting statues because they're pitching at random
01:55I think Jordan Walker might be the answer and it's because I'm I'm I don't know how I was going

02:02this but I'm lower on the Reds offense than I am the Cardinals I was not excited about the Cardinals
02:06offense but they got some juice right now and it just comes down to uh systemic um production that
02:14the Cardinals can have compared to the Reds so I have to buy into Jordan Walker Jordan Walker to me
02:20is a very interesting investment because again he's got some lineup protection the Cardinals are
02:25still playing for the postseason and I can see him surging down the stretch okay the lowest earned
02:31run average in major league baseball at the end of the season Tom a lot of I think good suggestions
02:38here but the bottom line is we've seen historical earned run average lows from a lot of the best
02:42pitchers in baseball who for you do you think provides the best investment here on Calci as
02:49we head toward the stretch uh you know Cam Schlittler has certainly had a great season he's going to win
02:54the Cy Young award who do you think ends up having the lowest earned run average and if there's anybody
02:59you think that kind of gets in the mix before the end of the year it's going to be Miz
03:03for the
03:04Berger Jacob Mizorowski um he's just too far ahead I know his innings aren't the same he's only at
03:11145 and Schlittler's up at you know 158 uh but he's at 168 ERA and Cam Schlittler's at 216 I

03:19think the gap is too much where even if Miz is okay-ish I just don't think it'll balloon past
03:25you know two three and put Schlittler in a spot to win I think Miz just has this locked up

04:25see four five six seven eight managers and the turnover in the offseason uh for the Cubs Craig
04:31Council being here that's a no I don't they signed him they're paying the money like that's a no he's
04:36not going to be gone after that um but four or five of these managers are certainly going to be
04:40gone
04:41when it's all said and done all right so uh let's uh real quick I want to go to the

05:27so even if they wanted to sell it the approval process is not like an overnight thing that like
05:36one person just does assign a piece of paper and then it no we have to do this and it
05:41has to go to
05:42the lead and the other the other owners have to approve it and we're also dealing with the CBA
05:48negotiations which will be you know coming to a head once the winter meetings get here
05:51when it officially ends will they be sold maybe but definitely not before January 1st 2027 we're
05:57talking about four months right to sell a franchise no no
