00:00We're certainly trending toward the possibility of a team making baseball's postseason without
00:04being 500. Indeed, there's a possibility of that happening. I mean, imagine the team that
00:11is the favorite to win the division just fired their GM. I mean, this is crazy times going on
00:16right now. And I got to say, Tom, the American League Central, I think whoever comes out of
00:22there has a shot to win the postseason. But I got to believe that this is an easy out,
00:27whoever makes the postseason from the West, whether it's Houston, whether it's Texas,
00:32whether it's Seattle. I mean, Seattle sending Miller to their bullpen. I mean, this has just
00:37been a disastrous season for both teams. Let's talk about Texas here. Boy, the door wide open
00:42for the Rangers just to win a little bit. Several games under 500 now. They couldn't beat the White
00:48Sox. You know, I kind of get it. You know, they can't beat Milwaukee. I kind of get it. But
00:53they
00:53should not be one in five in a week with that talent that they have on that team. Just massively
01:01disappointing. And look, as I've said, whoever wins five games in a row in the West at any point
01:06in September, that team wins the division. But how is it going to be Texas? They can't even put
01:09two to two in a row together. The division's a mess. That's the easiest way to put it. We're
01:15looking at all teams over their last 10 games, no one has a winning record. The Mariners and the
01:20Astros are 5-5. Everyone else is below 500. No one wants to win it. And, you know, sometimes
01:25we talk about playoff races and different sports. Like, man, like, first team to lose,
01:29the first team to take a step back, like, they're going to be the ones out of it. It's
01:32like, like, how about the first team to just win games? If you just go six and four over
01:3610 game stretch to your point, Craig, you'll just, you'll just all of a sudden have a two
01:40game lead. And it's like, oh, the Rangers, they lost against the White Sox. Like, they
01:45should be winning some of those games. Like, the Astros took a series against the
01:48Yanks. Like, if you just happen to win a few games in a row, you'll just have the
01:52division lead and you'll just be set and you'll be locked up because other teams
01:55can't chase you down. It's a mess of a division. And whatever team, like you said,
01:59wins the division or wild card, they're going to be a favorite taking on a team in
02:02the West. Doesn't matter if they have home field. Doesn't matter if the Astros have
02:04home field. I'll take the Red Sox in a series of the Astros any day of the week.
