00:00by Spider-Man Brand New Day,
00:02which is on track to potentially become
00:04the highest-grossing domestic release ever.
00:06It has to beat Star Wars, The Force Awakens,
00:10and it's off by about maybe $80 million now.
00:13But it keeps performing really, really well.
00:15You also had The Odyssey,
00:16which is Christopher Nolan's highest-grossing movie ever.
00:19And then things like, you know,
00:22surprisingly smaller hits like Backrooms,
00:25which is A24's highest-grossing film ever.
00:27Obsession, which is a micro-budget indie
00:29that Focus bought and is now their biggest,
00:31and it's one of the biggest world movies of all time.
00:34And then, you know, surprises like Project Hail Mary,
00:36which was a smash hit, Toy Story 5, Super Mario Galaxy.
00:41There's been a number of movies that have come out this year
00:44that have done extremely well.
00:46One theme that seems to run through a lot of that
00:49is, I guess, sort of broadly speaking, fantasy
00:54or, you know, comic books and things like that.
00:57Is that what we're going for nowadays?
00:59Do you see any trends in there
01:00in terms of what is doing well?
01:03Not necessarily,
01:04because the thing about comic book movies
01:06is that they were dominant for years,
01:08and a lot of people point to that as one of them.
