01:39that spreads and grows on the other side of the nail plate, just to stabilize and strengthen itself.
01:45Because nails, well, how can I put it, hands and fingers are working, they get loose. And our body
01:51doesn't just let it be. It's very smart. It likes to fix everything and grow everything back. So that's
01:57how the hyponitium grows. And today I'm going to show you how I file out the gel from the inside.

02:31Well, there are a couple of cracks, a few nails curving down a bit. But you also can't ignore the
02:36fact that these hands have lived a life. I mean, they were functioning for over a month. Of course,
02:40they got a bit worn out. By the way, here I'm taking a bit like this, I don't know what
02:45to call it,
02:45maybe a terminator. A really, really tough one. And my Dr. Alex device. And now I'm going to start the
02:51removal. And I mainly use this kind of bit when I know I have a lot of material to remove,

02:57want to spend a lot of time on it. I mean, when there's a really thick, big, solid layer. That's
03:02why I use a coarse cut bead from Magic Beads Beads, also known as Biotech. And as you can see,
03:09it really removes a large amount of material. But I advise you to be careful and not to press too

03:15on it. But honestly, it really does a great job at removing a large amount of material. It's actually
03:19really satisfying to work with. Especially when you know you'll have a lot of filing to do. So we've
03:24removed everything. We take a 180 grid file and prep the nails. We remove all the excess and take
03:30a look at our nails. I want to figure out what kind of structure we'll have here. And as usual,
03:35the index finger is really curved down. So I'll need to add more product there. That's why we'll
03:40be working with several types of gels today. And I placed the file like this to show how much product
03:45I'll need to add there. Plus, we have a little crack. We'll work on that too with a special gel.
03:51Here, look, this is the file. And there are these so-called empty triangles. I usually just call it
03:57an empty little triangle. I drew it here. That's the spot where we'll need to add more product,
04:02right into this green gap. But first we need to do a manicure. By the way, the cuticle here is
04:07actually
04:08fine, really nice and easy to push back. But on the other side, we'll have to work a bit with
04:13the
04:13hypernicium. Honestly, this part is really something I have to say, don't try this at home. Let's just call
04:19it that. This is only for professionals. And I know I'm about to get a lot of criticism for this.
04:25Something else, but I don't plan to push too far away from the hypernicium. I'll just gently,
04:30how should I put it, I gently lift it a little with a stick along its dry edge. I guess
04:35that's
04:36the right way to say it. And there's an important trick and nuance here. When you do this kind of
04:41manipulation, you need to press on the nail with the orange stick. That's important. Not on the hypernicium,
04:46but specifically on the nail. And then everything will turn out right. But if you are not confident
04:52in yourself, I'm just giving you the theory, I don't recommend it. But on the other hand,
04:57if you don't do it this way, well, you won't be able to file it out properly later. As you
05:01can see,
05:02the hypernicium has grown almost halfway along the length of the free edge. And of course,
05:07this will cause difficulties when filing from the inside. And now you can clearly see that dry part I
05:13was pushing back. We'll leave it for now and move on to working on the cuticle.
05:17Here I stick to the classics. Only Domix. My favorite, beloved, always with me. Because it's
05:23just so convenient. I don't know why anyone would do it without talc. It's really great and convenient.
05:28You can see everything clearly, and the beads don't get clogged. Oh, I grabbed a safety bit here,
05:33out of habit. But honestly, I don't really think it's that necessary here. I could have just used a drop
05:38shaped bit with a blue band right away. But since I don't mind, and I just really love the safety
05:43bit,
05:43I gently lifted the cuticle in a way that's comfortable for me and cleaned something up there.
05:48And now I'm taking a more serious bit. The one with the blue band. Pedicure drop shaped bit.
05:54And I'm using it because we're basically going to do a pedicure on the hands.
05:58As you can see, the side walls are very dry. There's a lot of the skin that we need to
06:03clean up.
06:04Everything is so rough. But at the same time, you can't over file or remove too much. So,
06:08I really don't recommend cleaning until the skin is pink or making the side walls super,
06:12super smooth here. So, doing that super clean and really deep manicure. This is exactly that case.
06:19Because the skin perceives such actions as an attack. And this skin is already under enough attack as it
06:26is. Because when my model eats sunflower seeds and then tears off dry patches of skin, she is actually
06:32attacking her own skin. So, these are destructive, aggressive actions. The skin says, help, oh no,
06:38I'm being attacked. I need to protect myself. And it becomes even denser and thicker. I hope this
06:44explanation makes sense. Some scenes I file down with an e-file bit. And some hangnails I cut off
06:50with nippers. There you go. And if anyone asks which nippers I use, just rewind a little and take a
06:55look.
06:55I showed the number right to the camera. The brand is Nippon Nippers. These are nippers with very long
07:00blades. Because deep down I'm a nipper person. And I really love long-bladed nippers. Honestly,
07:05I really do. And you know what else? She even has cracks on these rough areas. And they go right
07:11down to the red tissue. Well, whatever. Let's just say it. Down to the blood. Because I'm probably going
07:16to get another strike for this video anyway. But I think it will be very useful for many people.
07:22Because this isn't a rare case. Of course, hands like these do happen. And you need to understand how to
07:28work with them. And the most important rule is not to file down to the pink skin. Especially
07:33since we suspect there might be warts here. You don't need to file them down or try to cut them
07:37out or pull them out. By the way, people have written all sorts of things in the comments about
07:41these warts. It's crazy. Some people pull them out. Some cut them with a knife. Some use nippers or
07:46tweezers to yank them out. God forbid, guys. Please, don't do things like that. Because that can actually
07:52make the wart much, much bigger. In fact, statistically, they usually appear in places where there's been an injury.
07:57For example, on your feet, where you've had some kind of trauma or got hurt. For children,
08:02they often appear on their hands. Because kids frequently scratch themselves, get scrapes,
08:06or hurt themselves while playing outside, and so on. And accordingly, my model has them too.
08:10Because she eats sunflower seeds. Or more precisely, she peels the shells off with these parts of your
08:14fingertips. And if you or your client have a hand nail like I do right now, I recommend carefully trimming
08:19it like this. Of course, mine didn't turn out very gracefully, but I'll cut myself some slack.
08:24I'm doing this on camera. And at this moment, I'm looking through the camera. So, I'm not looking at
08:29the nail with my eyes, but specifically through the camera. And of course, my movement is a bit awkward.

08:38And now I'll use them to trim. As you can see, the length of the blade is just enormous. I
08:43think it's 16mm,

10:23it with
10:23tweezers, thank you so much, because I managed to do it. And finally, I didn't have to cut holes in
10:29the lids, because I always struggle with that. It's so nice when the membrane either peels off completely
10:34or comes off, and I have a beautiful jar with a black rim. So, let's dehydrate the nail. I am

10:40Domix Nail Dehydrator, if anyone's interested. And the primer will be from Iriski. This is an acid-free
10:46primer that's applied for adhesion. I remember about the crack. I'll show you how I work with it now.
10:52While the primer is drying, I'll take a closer look at the crack. Here it is, almost halfway
10:57across the nail plate. And I can't trim it here, because it goes right onto the nail bed. Why?
11:02Because of the hyponitium. At the end, I'll show you how I'll file this hyponitium. For now,
11:08I'll take the liquid base. Here I brought up a picture on purpose. This is also a base from BSG.
11:13So, today I'll be working with the BSG system, although I'll add some other brands as well.
11:18But more on that a bit later. This is a universal base. The underlayer is super elastic. It's also
11:24great for pedicures. Keep that in mind. And here is our fiberglass repair gel for repairing cracks.
11:30Look how cool it is. I jokingly call it snotty, because it's actually kind of cloudy and stretchy.
11:36But it's a really, really cool thing. This gel is only for repairing cracks. You see, it has lots and
11:43lots of different small and large pieces of fiberglass in it. And the advantage is, that even in a thin
11:51layer, it reinforces the crack really well. And these pieces of fiberglass don't stick out when you
11:57file it. So, it won't poke your hands like it sometimes happens with other similar gels. Basically,
12:04you cure it, file it, and the crack won't go anywhere. And they also put this beautiful red brush
12:10in my package. I couldn't resist it. Of course, it's meant for poly gel, but I decided to test it
12:17on
12:17Soufflé gels. Soufflé gels are a very interesting material, truly worthy of attention and respect.
12:26Because this thing is cool in that it doesn't have a tendency to self-level. It might seem like a
12:32strange property. But, for example, when you need to add a large amount of missing volume, like I have
12:39right now, that very little green triangle I outlined at the beginning. These kinds of non-self-leveling gels
12:47are great for that. Because when the volume is small, you can just use regular gel. But when you
12:53need to add a lot more, of course, you need a Soufflé gel or a Gelly gel. So, in my
12:58case, I'm using a gel
12:59from BSG in this beautiful universal shade. Let me show you again with my index finger. It really looks
13:07like it just flowed down. And from the highest point, meaning the spot where my nail touched the brush or
13:14the
13:14file, when I was showing you, we need to build up the height. Here I'm showing you a bit from
13:20the
13:21side on purpose, so I connect it to the highest point and then pull the gel down from there. Don't
13:26forget that the growth points need to be covered, because here mine were a bit unstable. You see,
13:32I intentionally applied gel on the side, and then, when I start filing, all the excess will be removed
13:37there, meaning I'll take it off with the file. And the side wall will be reinforced. This is how it
13:43will
13:43look. And basically, in this form, you can already cure it. Well, here is my favorite marking technique.
13:49I didn't show it to you this time, because I've done it so many times already. I use a compass
13:53for this,
13:54because my eye is definitely not perfect, and it's easier for me to measure with a compass and be sure
13:59everything is accurate. Next, I take a bit, also from Magic Beads, and with this kind of bit,
14:05I easily file it down. It's really easy. I left almost all the nails for you to see, because it's
14:10kind of mesmerizing. The speed is low, probably around 15 000 rpm here, and the bit has a blue band.
14:19A band? I file off everything I don't need, just to speed up the process, because using a nail file
14:25would take too long. And there is a lot of gel built up. But since my bit is very, very
14:30strong,
14:31I actually call it nuclear. Basically, it removes a large amount of material, and it goes quickly.
14:37It's honestly a really cool life hack. And, in general, I try to use the drill to file off as
14:42much as possible, so I don't have to work with the nail file for too long. Movements like this.
14:48This is, again, the straight-edged drill bit I often talk about, so it files evenly. It's just more
14:52convenient. I'm doing a little rough filing like this. I sped it up a bit here, and my little works
14:58in
14:58progress are ready. Just a couple of strokes with the nail file, and basically everything is fine.
15:04Next, I need to work on the inside. Again, with this same huge bead, I remove a large amount of
15:09material right where there's a lot that needs to be taken off. And I file a little like this,
15:15looking at the edge. That's it, now my base is ready for the next step. But here we just take
15:21a file
15:21and shape it into a regular oval. My model likes an almond shape, or an oval that leans toward almond.
15:30Of course, we focus on the length, because you can't do almond nails at just any length.
15:36You need a certain length or free edge for that. So, I usually do something like an oval shape for
15:42clients. It's just a more wearable shape. It's organic, it's harmonious. And I explain this to the
15:48client in a simple way, because many people ask how to tell a client that she can't have an almond
15:53shape. Well, it's very simple. She doesn't have the length, so an almond shape just won't work here.
15:59You can do a hazelnut shape if you want, or even a seed shape if that's what you prefer.
16:04Oh, by the way, she told me such a funny fact. It's not really relevant here, but she said she
16:08loves
16:09sunflower seeds so much that she even found a golden sunflower seed in those Bieločko packages.

16:24And now we're starting to work with our number 114 gel. By the way, I applied the base coat again,
16:31just to be on the safe side. It goes on quickly, so it's not a problem. I cured it, and
16:35now I'm moving
16:35on to the gel. The gel is in shade number 114 from the BSG brand. I left it in on
16:42purpose. Both the
16:43application of the base and how I pick up a bit of gel, I left it all in. It might
16:48seem simple,
16:48just picking up a drop, but pay attention, I don't wipe the brush on the edges. That's so the gel
16:53doesn't leak out. Next, I place a drop and, using the brush, gently and slowly spread it over the wet
17:00surface and let the gel flow. These are low-viscocity gels. They are liquid. There are high-viscocity ones,
17:06but this is a low-viscocity confiture gel. They are really fast and very convenient. Since our nail is already
17:12reinforced and everything is done, I use this gel just to slightly add a little structure and, of
17:18course, to give color, because now I don't need to cover anything with color anymore. I have a nice,
17:24dense, intense shade all over the nail plate, and it goes on in a fairly thin layer. And like most
17:31modern
17:31gels, and Confipure gels have a great feature. They are more flexible in a thin layer and harder in a
17:38thick layer. So, they are what we call modern smart gels. I use a thin brush to help spread the
17:45gel.
17:45If there's any excess, I just remove it like this. And now, we can start our design. So, at first,
17:52I just took two colors. White from Shock Shock Me. It's really, really white, by the way, I recommend it.
17:57And yellow from Emin, because our plan was to use the Neon Yellow 044 from Emin. It's super pigmented,
18:04but I decided to make it even denser with white, because I needed to do it this way. I understood
18:09that there would be really thin lines, but since the photo here had an almond shape,
18:13we thought about it a bit, even tried it, and in the end realized that we wouldn't do it that
18:18way.
18:18Well, I guess a lot of people experience this, right? A client comes in with one request,
18:23you start trying it out, and realize it just won't look good. Because there the nails are long and sharp,
18:28but here, we have shorter, more oval ones. But I had already mixed the colors, so we decided to do
18:35the same bright design, just a little different. We're going to draw stripes, we'll color different
18:41parts of the nails in various ways, in a completely random order. She showed me a reference, and we
18:48made it more or less similar. We were in a summer mood, we really wanted something bright. And besides,
18:54she, well, actually, for her next manicure, she's going to the sea, yes, to the seaside, with a marine
19:00themed manicure. She said, this will be like a rehearsal for me. I want something really, really
19:06bright. That's why we chose a few really summery neon shades. Here we have mint blue, yellow, orange,
19:13and pink. Basically, all the ones we could find. By the way, we didn't find many, because my office moved,
19:19and it's just a total mess here. You can't even imagine. I'll set up a new office later, and I'll
19:24definitely share with you how it turns out. For now, I'm working with what I was able to find among
19:29the piles of boxes. But thank God! All the color gels I have here are from the EMI brand. They
19:36are very
19:36pigmented and cover completely in just one layer. There is absolutely no chance that anything won't get
19:43covered. So, we'll be painting, and then we'll just add some shiny stripes to make everything pop
19:50with brighter colors. That was our plan. For the detailing, by the way, I'm using a very, very long
19:59brush. Actually, let me tell you, this is my second one. The first one was even longer. I think this

20:05my second brush now. One brush is from Rublyov, and the other is from Planet Nails. You can find all

20:11these on Wildberries. And honestly, these brushes, well, it depends on your preference. Personally,
20:17I love long brushes, because I really like being able to draw a line using the entire length of the
20:23bristles. Or, well, these brushes are also called stripers. Actually, the striper from Belay, I don't
20:29really like it for these purposes, because I think it's a bit too short and less flexible. But I'm a

20:35fan of Belay's other brushes. Well, in general, I think it's a matter of habit here. So, look on AVB,
20:41and find the one you like best. I also do French tips with the same long brushes, because with how
20:47flexible they are, they practically paint the lines themselves. The main thing is to properly dip this
20:53brush in gel polish, so that it's fully saturated, and then your lines will be super long and will
20:59almost draw themselves. I think I spent a little too long on these lines. Even I'm starting to feel a
21:05bit
21:05motion sick, so sorry. And next, we add some glittery lines. For this, I took some gel paint,
21:14and, if I'm not mistaken, I think it's some kind of silver one from Mystique. But honestly, I'm not
21:20exactly sure, because it's been about a week and a half since I filmed this. Well, basically, you can
21:26probably use any silver or gold paint you have, or maybe even, I don't know, bronze or some other
21:32color. And you can easily add black too. We just chose silver to highlight our neon shades, so they
21:40would look different and everything would sparkle in the sunlight. But don't worry, I haven't forgotten
21:47about filing underneath. I'll just do it after applying the top coat. So, that will be right at
21:54the very end. For now, enjoy these hypnotic patterns, because honestly, I get a little mesmerized by this

24:42you what the Hypanicum looks like from the side. See, it's still going to stick out for a while.
24:48But contrary to what everyone says, you know, when they tell you that you file out the underside,
24:53this is what it looks like. If the nails are very hooked, if the Hypanicum is active,
24:58it's still not going to look very good. That's just the truth.
25:01And there's nothing you can do about it, because you can't file off this skin. You can't cut it.
25:06You can only file underneath it, like I'm doing right now. So I gently go under there with the
25:10drill bit and carefully file underneath. I know that many people will say now,
25:14oh, you can just use a regular tree-shaped bit. You can, but a regular tree-shaped bit has very
25:19fine
25:19cutting at the tip. But with this kind of drill bit, the grid is coarser and it doesn't tend to
25:24get
25:24clogged. Well, of course, that's my choice. I can't force anyone, but I can just show how I do it
25:29and give some
25:29advice. As you can see, I'm using the same drill bit to file all 10 fingers. The Hypanicum is huge
25:36on
25:36all of them. And I calmly filed all 10 and my drill bit didn't get clogged at all. What you

25:42now that's white is just dust that sticks to it. Just brush it off and it will work again. The
