00:00there's the latest on tropical storm edward where we are tracking it just
00:05about 125 miles southeast of cameron louisiana tropical edge storm edward is
00:10happening landfall is expected between cameron louisiana and just north of
00:16Galveston yes that would be where the center of the storm passes now this is
00:20expected to reach a higher in tropical storm by Tuesday morning it's gonna be
00:25very high right there 60 mile per hour winds at 7 a.m. weakening as it does
00:30make landfall and that track impacting interstate 45 in areas east of there which
00:36is where we expect the most rainfall Houston area is under a flood watch I
00:41think that's the biggest takeaway yes biggest takeaways that you stay on the
00:44flood watch and not so much we have warning it's a normal likely but gusty
00:51winds and some electricity effects and is happening tropical storm along the coast
00:57the winds will get strong along the coast but they should weaken as it moves up
01:00but you can see this is interstate 45 this one is where we are tracking about
01:04three to five inches of rainfall and then on the eastern side of the Houston
01:09metro region for the coastal bend we're not tracking much rain at all yes five
01:16inches to three inches is a normal happening right there be aware not from
01:20this tropical system if you can see a few pop-up showers here or there and
01:25overall even our wave action doesn't like to pick up much from Texas border that
01:30must be the area has something happening so be aware be prepared for that
01:34tropical system it's just not gonna hang out in the Gulf enough yeah all right
