00:00Joy, the Big Ten and the SEC, do you think one day we're going to just get one gigantic conference
00:06and it's just going to be like the Premier League and conferences like Sunbelt, conferences like Mountain West, all those
00:13are just going to go away and it's just going to be like the Premier League and this is going
00:18to be kind of like the minor leagues for the National Football League.
00:20Maybe one day they do start sending guys down and they start sending guys to Alabama or LSU. I don't
00:27know. I mean, do you think we're trending that way right now?
00:31I don't think college football and the NFL will ever merge in that way, like where you're sending players back
00:38and forth because it is still college.
00:40They are still going to school and you do have, you know, 18 year olds or 17 year olds. You
00:45can't have them playing against 32 year olds or 33 year old men.
00:49So I don't think that those two sports will merge, but I do think that we are trending into more
00:55of a regulation style college football system because it, one, it just makes sense from a competitive standpoint.
01:05And if you have the ability to show that like program growth and you can move up into, you know,
01:11the next tier, I think that that changes things and it changes the money for everyone.
01:16I know it's really complicated. It's not as simple as the NFL because you don't have 32 teams.
01:22You know, you've got, you've got hundreds of programs and it gets weird, but at the end of the day,
01:27I think that the leadership really needs to come together and stop having these greedy, insane, useless conversations
01:34conversations and really get in a room and hammer out what the future of the sport looks like.
01:40Set your egos aside, which I know is a huge ask, but if you're going to get things in line,
01:45that's how you have to do it.
