00:07From early on in Arrogate's career, physically he was highly regarded, but I don't think that
00:13they thought he was going to be the star he ended up being. And I think really the coming
00:17out party for that was the Travers. I think that the one thing that Arrogate had that really set
00:28him apart from everybody was an incredibly high cruising speed. I mean there's just not many horses
00:34that could do what he did and keep going. He has every chance underneath him to keep the torch going
00:40and we would love to see that happen. We're really at the end of the day only going to have
00:44three crops
00:45from him and you know it's who knows what he'll be. We're never going to know what Arrogate could
00:53have been as a sire. But he came from one of the best crops of stallions to go to stud
00:59in recent
01:00memory with along beside Gunrunner and Practical Joke. And as a second crop sire he was right up
01:07there with Gunrunner. We both had four grade one winners that year. He went on to sire six grade
01:14one winners. Three of them over classic races. Two in grade one and two year old races. So his influence
01:24in those three short years at stud was phenomenal. So he's been hitting at almost 10% stakes winners
01:33to foals which puts him in a league company. At the time when Arrogate passed away we were wondering
01:40would there be an heir apparent to Arrogate and of his sixth grade one winners. Archangelo is the
01:48the only Eclipse champion out of them and went on. They replicated each other both winning the
01:55Travers in with triple digit buyers. It's Archangelo and disarm one two. Archangelo another Travers.
02:03Because Arrogate is now gone where are you going to find another one and we're so lucky to have him
02:07here. He's got all these great qualities and even improved on what his sire had. When you look at
02:13the hip and kind of how his hind leg sits he's an improvement on his sire. Archangelo's book of
02:19mares includes a lot of the best producing mares that went to Arrogate himself. So we're getting a lot
02:26of graded stakes winners, graded stakes producers. So Archangelo's yearlings once again kind of like
02:33the Arrogate yearlings have great frames to them, have got beautiful angles and they just want to go
02:41out and do their job. Two of the nicest physicals on my farm were Archangelos and they both of them
02:48just had a phenomenal walk. We sold our Archangelo colt out of Nile River Queen for four hundred and
02:54seventy five thousand last night to Clarevich Stables. He was just a freak of a physical and had a great
03:00walk and I wanted to bring him up here to showcase his walk. I think Archangelo has every chance of
03:07being a top top stallion but his female family as well. Tracing back to better than honour and tap it
03:13as a
03:13broodmare sire it's just a fantastic pedigree. We're excited about what we have in future.
03:24Bye.
