In the days since he closed out his historic career in the Breeders' Cup Classic, Sovereignty has been busy settling into his new role at Jonabell Farm. He is joined there by Grade I winner and stablemate Knightsbride, another multi-millionaire Godolphin homebred new to the Darley roster in 2027. Watch the TDN's visit to Jonabell Farm, where we spoke with the team there as they welcomed two star additions to the stud barn.

00:09Favorite memory for Sovereignty is definitely his Derby. Probably not too unusual that that would be my favorite memory.
00:17He is the perfect combination of an incredible pedigree, a great physical, and just has obviously tons and tons of
00:27heart and natural talent.
00:28I feel very lucky to have been to one Kentucky Derby and one Breeders' Cup and both of them involve
00:35Sovereignty.
00:36Just so versatile and sort of everything you really want in a racehorse in America and sort of that Derby
00:43style sire is what he is and what we will hope he will be.
00:47Hail to the King! Sovereignty!
00:49My favorite memory is going to my first Derby ever and being there and then when he crossed the race
01:00track finish line.
01:02And that is probably one of my very top things in my whole entire 67 years of life.
01:09My favorite memory of Sovereignty's career I think is the Belmont Stakes and the fact that it was the same
01:16top three finishers in the same order as the Kentucky Derby.
01:19I think just really showed that his Derby was obviously no fluke. He was the best three year old and
01:24just kind of vindicated that he was really as good as we'd all thought that he was.
01:28One that stood out for me was his traverse, his physique, his stride, he saw light on his feet, his
01:38sheer power and I think his brain, his racing aptitude.
01:44Once he decided he was making his move, it was a sight to behold.
01:49My favorite memory from Sovereignty's career, it was definitely just being with everyone this past weekend for the Breeders' Cup
01:58Classic.
01:59He just looked like such a beast and I don't really know how to put that into words, but he
02:04was just such a presence on the race track.
02:08I think what made Sovereignty such a good racehorse was just the class that he had about him. I have
02:15never seen him turn a hair at anything at all.
02:19Favorite memory of his career is being fortunate enough to see him on the quiet mornings before training, give him
02:25some love and him just being an absolute gentleman of a horse.
02:33My favorite memory for Knightsbridge was actually when he broke his maiden as a two year old on Breeders' Cup
02:39Day.
02:40We were all watching from California and we knew we had a star on our hands.
02:43Another one for Knightsbridge was the Fred Hooper at Gulfstream.
02:47See him put it all together on race day, just win so convincingly and just pull away so well.
02:54Going a mile and a quarter in the Pacific Classic was a big question mark.
02:57It was a grade one and the fractions that he set, I mean, I remember just being like, oh my
03:02gosh.
03:03He went so, so fast early, but then just still, you know, ran away with it.
03:07Knightsbridge and Junior Alvarado romp home in the Pacific Classic.
03:12The way that he has grown up and turned into the Knightsbridge that we all know him today is pretty
03:17remarkable because he has never looked better in his life.
03:20So sovereignty is coming in at an introductory fee of $150,000 and Knightsbridge will come in at $75,000.
03:29For sovereignty to have a horse who has never won the collection of races that he has won,
03:34they are two of the most important stallion prospects that we've brought in in a long time and the future
03:41is very bright.
03:42You are veryuka.
03:45You are veryuka.
03:49You are veryuka.
03:50You are very Игорь Mourke.
03:50You are veryuka.
03:51I have no idea why we are not there.
