00:00The market was dearer than the previous sale two weeks ago.
00:05We've had a really nice offering of cattle today.
00:08All the feedlotters were here today, all the major ones.
00:11We've had extra feedlot buyers here.
00:14All of our older steers sold really well.
00:18Like the steers that are 580 kilos or up to 650 kilos, all making $4.80 to $5.00 a
00:24kilogram.
00:25You get onto their 18-month-old, the two-year-old steers,
00:28$5.50, $5.60, $7.00 a kilo.
00:32And then, look, all the weaners, depends on the weight and quality,
00:36but, look, all making somewhere between $6 and up to $7.00 a kilo.
00:40More farmers and graziers here, a good crowd of people.
00:44And in the heifer section, we've just stepped off the rail selling the heifers,
00:47and the heifers, all them older heifers, 18-month-old, the two-year-old heifers,
00:51all making around $5, $5.20.
00:54Well supported from either farmers or feedlotters.
00:57We had a lot of heifers making in around that $5.30 to $5.50 a kilo
01:03in the way of those weaners and yearling off cattle.
01:06There was some good competition from either the feedlots, graziers,
01:10or even a couple of commission buyers sending them up into New South Wales
01:13or Northern Victoria.
01:14So it was really, really good sale.
01:17Deerer than two weeks ago.
01:19Spring's on the doorstep.
01:20We've had a sprinkling of rain just in the last, well, this morning, you know.
01:25And, look, grass is starting to grow a bit now.
01:28So it's all positive.
