00:00Probably didn't see the bigger consignments of cattle come forward for this October sale but the quality was exceptional still
00:05for them smaller runs of cattle but they arrived at the top, the heavy feeder cattle sold very well, the
00:10ones up over that 500 kilos, 5 to 550 kilos they were all making that 510 to 520 cents which
00:15was great to see and then once you come under that sub 500 especially you got into that 420 to
00:20440, 50 kilo, them true blue feeder cattle they sort of took off into that 540, 550, 560, 570 range
00:28which was fantastic.
00:30A few smaller pens of the Venger steers, very very well brewed steers that are 220 to 250 to 60
00:36kilos, you know they're 650 to 7 dollars I think some nudge over that 7 dollar mark which were close
00:41to that 220 kilos, heifer's exceptional, very good run of grain heifers but yeah they were probably the highlight of
00:46the day for that heavy grain heifers you know they're making that 5 to 520, 525 cents per kilo they're
00:51making up there with the steers which was fantastic to see, all the major feedlots here in attendance.
00:58On the wiener steers and the lighter end heifers you had local interest.
