01:56And this came out to trigger a fresh controversy about rifts or tensions within the Congress in Kalangana.

02:13and that her removal was timed just after her daughter's graft-related controversy had come to light.

03:10saying the decision was taken after discussions with the Congress' high command.
03:14Now the BJP, meanwhile, has of course seized this opportunity of the internal showdown,
03:19accusing the Congress of a hypocrisy and pointing to what it calls growing dissent in cracks within their own party.

07:30Reddy operates. Now the Congress leaders demanded an action against Konda Surekha, that is the high
07:35command. Now the Surekha accused Congress of targeting her. This is one by one, these are the
07:42developments that took place, one after the other. And then Konda Surekha refused to step down. When
07:47she was first asked to resign, she refused to do that. That's when a disciplinary panel
07:52recommended that Konda Surekha needs to be removed.
