00:00One, when President Xi is here, will you host a state dinner?
00:03Yes.
00:04And what does it say to allies as you guys are moving to punish people who support Iran?
00:10China is obviously one of Iran's biggest supporters.
00:12Well, not giving a good support.
00:13Look, China has been very, I said, please don't get involved to President Xi.
00:18You have a very good relationship.
00:20And they're not really involved, very little involvement by China.
00:24China could have plenty of involvement.
00:25They get 50% of their oil from the harmless strait.
00:29And by the way, pipelines are being built right now.
00:31The road through Syria, which is fantastic, is being built.
00:34And it's open, actually.
00:36And people are taking trucks through Syria, massive trucks with oil in it.
00:40A lot of alternatives are being made to the harmless strait.
00:43The harmless strait is not what it used to be.
00:45Iran is going to end up, if they don't get smart, really smart, which I don't know if they can.
00:52I don't know if they're able to do that.
00:53But they're going to end up with a harmless strait that's not very necessary anymore.
00:57So pipelines are being built all over the Middle East now, so they don't have to go through the harmless
01:01strait.
01:02When should the American public expect resolution on Iran?
01:04You just said that you could perhaps strike.
01:05A revolution?
01:06A resolution.
01:07Oh.
01:08You just said that you could perhaps strike.
01:10You think that's not in other things.
01:12When should people feel?
01:13I thought the revolution was more interesting.
01:17No, a resolution.
01:17Resolution.
01:18I don't know.
01:18I can't tell you.
01:19But we've already won the big thing.
01:21There's not going to be a nuclear weapon.
01:23You know, if we left today, it would take them 25 years to rebuild their country.
01:27But I want to leave so that the next president doesn't have to worry about it.
01:31Mr. President, you can ask more about this new proposal for peace between Ukraine and Russia.
01:36Would it involve, for example, Ukraine's ceiling territory?
01:38No, we have an idea for peace.
01:40Look, I said late wars.
01:43Most of them were supposed to be, in my opinion, more difficult than Russia and Ukraine.
01:48There's a personality problem in Russia and Ukraine.
01:50You know, President Zelensky and President Putin, they truly hate each other.
01:54Do you know what hate is?
01:55They have serious hate.
01:57And it's getting in the way of them.
01:59You know, last week, they lost 32,000 people, mostly soldiers, during the last month.
02:06Four weeks.
02:07They lost 32,000 soldiers.
02:09They're losing, on average, 25,000 soldiers a month.
02:14It's got to get settled.
02:15So I did.
02:16I sent Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner, the two great negotiators.
02:21They've done a great job.
02:23And we sent them over to see whether or not we can get something done.
02:27And there may be a good chance that we'll do it.
02:29Mr. President, while we were here with you, a mistrial was declared in the Lindsay Clancy trial.
02:34Have you been following that trial?
02:35Have you watched it?
02:36Well, it's hard not to.
02:37It's on television so much.
02:39It's hard not to follow it.
02:40I followed it pretty much.
02:41But it's a shame.
02:43It's a horrible tragedy.
02:45It's a horrible tragedy.
02:46I see what's happened.
02:47And it looks like it's a hung jury.
02:50And I think the judge just said it's going to be a mistrial.
02:52I assume there's going to be another trial.
02:55It's a terrible situation.
02:57Look, she did a horrible, horrible thing.
03:02Can't be worse.
03:03But you'll find out what the price to pay is.
03:06There'll be a price.
03:07It's going to be a mental institution or jail or something.
03:10But I guess they're going to go through another trial.
03:12It's too bad.
03:13One last question for you.
03:14Thank you so much.
03:15Speaker Johnson sent members home early, especially with the midterm elections coming up.
03:21Do you feel that Republicans delivered everything you wanted?
03:24Well, he can look.
03:25The House has been great.
03:26You know, they sent the Save America Act up to the Senate.
03:30We're waiting for the Senate.
03:31So the House has been great.
03:34We've got the Great Big Beautiful Bill.
03:36That was, you know, just so people understand, a lot of the things that we gave you, we gave
03:40it in the Great Big Beautiful Bill.
03:41We don't have to do new labor.
03:42We put 17 different bills into that.
03:45Lucky we did, because it wouldn't get anything else passed.
03:48But the House has been, Speaker Johnson has done a fantastic job.
03:54On beef, Mr. President, the suspension of tariffs on ground beef imports, where is that
03:59beef coming from?
04:00Well, it's coming from different places.
04:02From which country?
04:03It's coming from Argentina.
04:04It's coming from Brazil.
04:05It's coming from a couple of other places.
04:07We have our inspectors down.
04:08It's very clean.
04:09It's very good.
04:10And as soon as these people, you know, their herds are increasing, their herd decreased
04:14very, very substantially during the Biden years, during the Biden administration.
04:17But even from an environmental standpoint, you know, they wanted to decrease your herds
04:24for environmental reasons.
04:25You believe that one?
04:27So we're building up the herds.
04:30The farmers, the ranchers are building up their herds.
04:33To follow up on that, Mr. President, you had said that importers had agreed that ground
04:37beef would be sold at 25 percent below market prices.
04:40So are those countries only Argentina and Brazil, or are there other countries that agree to that?
04:43Well, there could be other countries.
04:45But right now, it's primarily Argentina and Brazil.
04:48But there could be other countries.
04:49And we're doing it in a very limited fashion because our ranchers can handle it.
04:54But our ranchers really needed a little bit of help.
04:56And our ranchers want the prices to be down, too.
04:58They want to see the prices come down.
05:00But I think a very big thing, and I've been hearing it for a long time, is the food processing.
05:05Our ranchers are going to be able to do their own food processing.
05:09And they'll have inspections.
05:10They'll have inspectors.
05:11They'll have everything just like these big plants, Adam.
05:14But I would be willing to say that our ranchers will be more sanitary than those plants.
05:20I think it's going to be a great thing.
05:21I would think it's going to make a big difference when you can do your own processing.
05:26You don't have to drive hundreds of miles away.
05:29Zippy, can I ask you to say a word, Zippy?
05:31You are such a great leader.
05:33Go ahead.
