04:50At what point does Shingo Takagi allow desperation to take over, knowing that he hasn't even been able to buy

04:57If I'm Shingo, I mean, I think tonight is the night. I think, you know what, you got the big
05:03one out of the way, and Konosuke Takeshita,
05:05that hot rivalry that we saw earlier this year at Wrestle Kingdom. Once getting that out of the way, I
05:13feel like, should open the door to be like,
05:15okay, I'm done with it, I need to focus on getting points now. Not thinking about Takeshita, I'm not thinking
05:22about this or that, I'm thinking about points and how to win and how to win fast.
05:28As we get into the carnival tie-up here, two bulls that are going to jock horns, and they have
05:33jocked horns in many a different prefecture and arena across the years.
05:38First singles meeting between Shoto Umino and Shingo Takagi coming when Shoto Umino was a young lion back in 2018.

08:14Unsuccessfully challenging Zack Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Taking that loss and building upon growing each and

08:25To defeat somebody like Shingo Takagi is quite impressive. You know, to get yourself into the main event of Wrestle
08:35Kingdom, quite impressive.

08:44Now on the outside, we saw a lot of these battles leading up to Dantaku on the outside.
08:50Oh, Shota. Wrenching. What is that? The right ankle of Takagi in between those barricade points.
08:58I think it's very, very smart and wise strategy to attack Shingo's legs.
09:04I mean, Shingo's so explosive, known for that unbelievable strength and power and explosiveness.
09:11What better thing to do than go right after the legs?
09:15You're absolutely right, Rock. I mean, there's a lot of people that will look at the explosivity of Shingo Takagi

09:21well, it's all in the arms. It's all arm-based strength, but you got to be able to hit those
09:25ropes the way Takagi does to throw his opponents off.
09:30Speaking of hitting ropes, Shota Umino has been hitting gyms and ropes.
