00:00Two very different draws produced two outstanding stories over the weekend, as Everton battled back to earn a dramatic point
00:09against Manchester United, while Aston Villa were frustrated by a resolute Hull City.
00:16Everton's 2-2 draw with United was the definition of late drama. United twice looked set to take all three
00:24points, with Brian Mbermo opening the scoring before Tyreek George responded for Everton.
00:30Then it was Benjamin Sheshko that appeared to have won it for United, only for debutant and former Arsenal player
00:37Ainsley Maitland-Niles to produce a stunning stoppage time equaliser and send the home crowd into celebration.
00:46It was a thrilling contest and another sign of Everton's growing resilience.
00:51At the other end of the scale, it has been an awful start to the season for Aston Villa. Their
00:580-0 draw at Hull City was no less impressive.
01:03The newly promoted side extended their unbeaten start and recorded a third successive clean sheet, standing firm against Unai Emery's
01:12side.
01:13Hull even came close to winning it when Mohamed Bouloumi struck the crossbar, while Aston Villa struggled to find any
01:20sort of breakthrough once again.
01:22It's been two draws and two completely different stories this weekend for both Everton and Aston Villa.
