00:00Welcome home residents, it's your May Alice to reporting from deep within my bunker,
00:04with a destructive new update for the next entry in the MonsterVerse, Godzilla X-Kong Supernova.
00:10We just got a boatload of new information regarding the Titans that'll feature in the film,
00:15including a potential new Godzilla Evolution that will make all previous ones look like Manila in comparison.
00:22Now, we likely still have at least two months before we see the trailer for Supernova,
00:26I expect Legendary is just going to use the same marketing strategy they've been using since Godzilla vs. Kong,
00:32where they just won't talk about it until like four months until release,
00:36which is fine, whatever, at least we have minus zero right around the corner,
00:41with the next trailer dropping imminently, so be sure to subscribe for that.
00:44Which means another MonsterVerse film is being entirely spoiled by toys,
00:49so here's your warning that the video will contain spoilers.
00:52Though we'll try to avoid talking about major story details,
00:55so continue at your own risk.
00:58Now, this news comes from Jedi Shop, an online store from the Czech Republic of all places,
01:04that specializes in collectibles and toys and all things nerdy.
01:07They seemingly accidentally revealed the names of Playmate's upcoming line of Godzilla figures,
01:13which gives us a good idea on what to expect from Supernova.
01:17First off on the list, let's start off with Godzilla,
01:20who looks to be receiving a new stomp and roar figure, which will likely just be a toy gimmick.
01:26Like it has a button to make footsteps and roar sounds,
01:29which is similar to what Playmate's has done previously.
01:32We can expect this to feature his new design,
01:34which we don't really know much about, since the test screenings flip between two versions.
01:39From what we can gather, it's a slightly bulkier evolved Godzilla,
01:43but with King of the Monsters dorsal plates.
01:46But remember, nothing was final, so take that with a pinch of salt.
01:49We're also set to get a figure of Suko with Kong's battle axe.
01:54I'm glad we'll be seeing that weapon again,
01:56and with Suko having grown between films, we may see him use it in battle.
02:00Suko is said to be trying to bond with Godzilla in the film,
02:03and even trying to make his own battle axe from one of Godzilla's dorsal plates.
02:07So, maybe this is that.
02:09Now, this is where it starts to get interesting.
02:12If you wanted more confirmation that Space Godzilla is going to be in this film,
02:15I'm looking at you, that one guy in the comments that's still not convinced,
02:18because here it is again,
02:20more confirmation that Space Godzilla is going to be in Godzilla X-Kong Supernova.
02:24The series has been leading to this moment,
02:26with deleted scenes involving an invading flying Godzilla,
02:29and all the hollow earth crystals with mystic qualities,
02:32all pointing towards the arrival of this cosmic terror.
02:36He comes in the form of two toys, at least so far confirmed,
02:40including a 25cm tall giant variant,
02:43which is similar to what we've got in the past.
02:45We got a bunch with the new empire,
02:47though I'm still hoping we get a 23-inch variant like we got with the evolved Godzilla.
02:52I have one of these in my room, and yes, he is awesome.
02:56But we'll also get a variant with this iconic Corona.
02:59Yes, this figure comes with beer,
03:01But how much beer would it take to get Space Godzilla drunk?
03:04Maybe we'll save that for another video.
03:06Now, this is obviously announcing the return of his Corona beam,
03:10that we saw in the original.
03:12Really curious to see how the updated beam looks.
03:14But what is there for our favorite big hairy ape?
03:17Well, this one's interesting,
03:19because it reveals Kong will get a Rage suit.
03:23Now, if you remember a while back,
03:26we spoke about a leak that included details that Kong will get an EXO suit.
03:31Yes, full-on power armor.
03:33This announcement has only seemingly confirmed that leak was accurate,
03:37which, depending on who you are,
03:39might hype you up or deeply terrify you.
03:41How does he get this armor?
03:43Does he get it after a major catastrophic loss against Space Godzilla?
03:47Or perhaps another rematch against the King of the Monsters?
03:50Or maybe even something else?
03:52What do you think?
03:53Let us know in the comment section down below.
03:55That's not the only Kong reveal as well,
03:56because there also looks to be a Berserker Kong.
04:00Berserkers were basically Norse warriors
04:02that are famous for fighting with extraordinary aggression and fearlessness,
04:06with some people believing they used to get amped up on hallucinogens before combat,
04:10making them just extra unhinged.
04:13So is Kong going to trip balls in supernova and just go mental?
04:17Probably not,
04:18but it's safe to assume he goes ballistic at some point.
04:20Early rumors suggest he's under the influence from Space Godzilla's crystals,
04:25which only adds fuel to the fire
04:27that the crystals' mind-control abilities in the new Empire
04:30can trace their origins to Space Godzilla.
04:33Worldbuilding, you'll love to see it.
04:35For some reason, just hearing about a giant ape going berserk
04:38makes me think of Halo.
04:39When you piss off the brutes enough,
04:41they become berserkers,
04:42and they just charge straight at you.
04:44So maybe here's your first look at Kong going berserk in his new rage suit.
04:47Next up,
04:48continuing through the uncharted regions of the Hollow Earth,
04:51we have a brand new monster called Dreadlash.
04:55Now, there's not much we can really say about this
04:57since we don't know what it is,
04:58but from early reports,
05:00it's supposed to be a feline squid titan
05:03that is killed by Godzilla when he enters the Hollow Earth.
05:06A titan being part cat and part squid
05:08sounds pretty cool in all honesty.
05:10If it looks anything like Evolved Goji 24's fan interpretation,
05:14then it could be a new fan favorite.
05:16Please don't be another generic squid, please!
05:18I've heard some people speculating it could be a renamed Methuselah,
05:22but since Methuselah appears in the Monarch Files book,
05:25I can't imagine them needing to change the name for copyright reasons.
05:28So this is most likely a new titan.
05:31Now we probably have the most intriguing announcement out of this whole reveal.
05:35Playmates have revealed the Astral Titan?
05:38Now this can't be Space Godzilla since they've already revealed his name,
05:42so this has to be a new cosmic terror.
05:45Now if we go back a few months,
05:47you might remember we spoke about whispers of a greater threat
05:50that'll feature in Supernova.
05:52Something so massive,
05:54it literally eats away at the hearts of planets.
05:57A creature that has been compared to Unicron
06:00as a planet-eating titan
06:02that may lead to the endgame of the Monsterverse.
06:05Well, the Astral Titan
06:07may very well be this planet-eater,
06:09the entity that sent Space Godzilla to Earth
06:12to prepare for its arrival.
06:14Not much is said on its appearance,
06:16apart from it being a hulking beast
06:18with massive burrowing tendrils
06:20that devour planets from their core.
06:22So if this really is that titan,
06:25this film just went to the next level.
06:27Because I fear for Godzilla's safety,
06:29how is he gonna stop a planet-eating titan?
06:32Maybe he can't.
06:33But we may have an idea on what he could use to his advantage,
06:36and that comes in the form of this next reveal.
06:39And brace for this one,
06:40because Supernova is going to feature a galactic Godzilla,
06:45which is just a mind-bending thing to hear
06:47coming from the Monsterverse.
06:49I mean, Godzilla 2014 was a grounded, realistic film,
06:53and now we've got galactic Godzilla,
06:56which is very cool,
06:57just in a completely different way.
06:58I think that confirms that Godzilla
07:00will indeed be going to space,
07:01and from the sounds of it,
07:03this may be the Monsterverse's own equivalent
07:05to Super Godzilla,
07:07a massive power-up he'll receive
07:09to help him in his battle against Space Godzilla,
07:12with reports essentially describing it
07:13as Godzilla going Super Saiyan,
07:15but instead of a bright yellow light,
07:18he glows multicolored like a Godzilla RGB keyboard.
07:22This is going to be an absolutely insane visual.
07:24This could put Supernova Godzilla
07:26as the most powerful iteration of the character
07:29by far.
07:30No competition.
07:31And I can't wait to see this in the film,
07:33although I'm not sure how I feel about it being multicolored,
07:37I'd honestly just like him to glow gold like Goku.
07:40That would be sick.
07:41Like, this is an actual higher being that we're looking at.
07:44So from Dreadlash, Space Godzilla, and the Astral Titan
07:47to Berserker Kong and Galactic Godzilla,
07:50it looks like Godzilla X-Kong Supernova
07:52is going to be jam-packed with plenty of monster mayhem
07:55that fans have been craving.
07:57Let's just hope it's been worth the wait.
07:59According to the test screenings
08:00that happened earlier this year,
08:02it may not only be worth the three-year wait,
08:04but it could be the best film in the MonsterVerse.
08:08So get hyped.
08:09The trailer is likely only two months away.
08:12The Playmates toys for Godzilla X-Kong Supernova
08:14are officially scheduled to launch in January 2027,
08:18though thanks to this leaked catalogue,
08:20information suggests they could begin arriving
08:22as early as December 2026,
08:25which will likely be the less spoilery toys.
08:28But honestly, with the way they handled the new Empire,
08:30I wouldn't be surprised if they just dumped all of it
08:32to make use of those Christmas shoppers.
08:35But which of these reveals gets you hyped the most?
08:38Space Godzilla, Kong's Rage Suit,
08:40the Astral Titan,
08:41or even Galactic Godzilla?
08:43Let us know in the comment section down below.
08:45For me, this news only gets me more hyped
08:48about Godzilla X-Kong Supernova,
08:49especially after the news that tonally it's expected
08:52to be a cross between Godzilla King of the Monsters worldbuilding
08:55and Godzilla vs. Kong's science fiction and visual style.
08:58It honestly sounds like the perfect MonsterVerse film
09:01that should theoretically appeal to everyone,
09:04fans old and new.
09:06While some things like Kong's X-O suit feel like a step too far,
09:10if it's presented right and with the right amount of realism,
09:14it could end up being okay.
09:15While things like the Astral Titan and Galactic Godzilla
09:18just sound awesome and I can't wait to see them.
