00:00There are many things that pull us away from God and that's what I've been talking about all day.
00:04What is pulling you away from relationship with God? There are many legitimate concerns that we
00:10have such as kids, such as families, such as bills and sometimes even legitimate concerns
00:17are dangerous because they stand in the place of God. We get so distracted and pulled away.
00:24The Bible calls it the cares of this world, but the problem is that there is nothing in this world
00:30that can replace God.
00:32God has left. Oh, I didn't know. Over there. Okay, I'll be over there just now. I'm done here.
00:43I got a little crowd right here for about 20 seconds, I think. So they're legitimate things
00:49that keep us away from God, but they can become dangerous because they can take the place of
00:54God and become idols in our life. And before we knew it, there's some of us that have had
00:58a passionate relationship with God at one time, but the cares of this world put us further and
01:03further away from God because we got distracted. And now God has been put in the background of
01:08our lives. God does not want to be in the background of our lives. God wants a passionate relationship
01:18with you and I. He made it possible through Jesus Christ that we can passionately walk with
01:24him. Lord, help us to get in right relationship with you.
