00:01Oh
00:45When I was the hospital, during the death of men, the death of US pushing Johnathan on its victims and
00:51the families.
01:04Pakistan strongly condemns the reprehensible Houthi attacks targeting civilian and economic
01:11sites in Abha, Khamis, Mushait, Jazan and Najran in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
01:18Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering support for Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, territorial integrity,
01:25security and prosperity, government, as well as the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.
01:31Pakistan will continue to support efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace and stability in the region.
01:38Yeah, look, again, the Houthis in many ways are agents and proxies of the Iranians.
01:43I think behind some of this is clearly the Iranian hand.
01:45The U.S. has a very strong defensive military relationship with Saudi Arabia.
01:51And we're watching those events very closely.
01:55It's been going on for some time.
01:56I think there's been some ground operations as well where Yemeni forces are taking on the Houthis
02:01and pushing back against some of the ground advances that they attempted to make.
02:05And we're monitoring that, as I said, very, very closely.
02:09But I would defer, as far as on the defense side, the Department of War, I don't think there'll be
02:13any announcements on that today.
02:14Just turning to the latest developments in Yemen.
02:18I can tell you that the recent escalation we have been witnessing over the past few days
02:23and that we condemn the Houthi cross-border attacks against multiple sites in southern Saudi Arabia.
02:31These attacks affected civilians and energy infrastructure.
02:35And we, of course, expressed deep concern over the reports of civilian casualties.
02:40The special envoy for Yemen, Hans Grunberg, continues engaging directly with the parties with the aim of containing the current
02:48escalation and preserving space for dialogue.
02:50Continued military escalation risks devastating political, economic security ramifications for Yemen.
02:58The parties should engage constructively with the UN-led political process.
03:04And on the ground, our colleagues tell us that stepped-up fighting is devastating communities already struggling to survive after
03:13more than a decade of conflict in Yemen.
03:15More than 5,600 households have been displaced across Taiz and southern Al-Hudaydah since the escalation of the fighting
03:24on September 3rd.
03:26At least 11 civilian casualties were reported last week, including two children killed and nine people injured.
03:32In Marib, there are reports that shelling struck displacement sites over the weekend, resulting in the deaths of two children
03:38and injuries to 15 other people.
03:41Shelters have been destroyed and families forced to sleep in the open.
03:45Humanitarians are mobilizing the response. Reaching many people in need remains a major challenge.
04:04are playing instruments at this event.
04:05In the conduct of the fighting situation, they play the same night, leading with virtue of the fight in the
04:05fight.
04:05The, the, the, the piel of the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the area of the, the, the,
04:05the, the, the, the, the, the play of which is ready for it.
