05:23Is in danger of expiring
05:25Which would take away
05:26Services and opportunities
05:28For people affected by ALS
05:29In the interim
05:31Until they come up
05:31With a resolution
05:32And with the way
05:33They've scheduled
05:34Their rest of the year
05:35This is a decision
05:37That's being tied
05:37To other healthcare funding
05:38By some people
05:39And it could push the vote
05:41To the end of the year
05:42Leaving three to four months
05:44Of people
05:44Without any kind
05:45Of medical funding
05:46For not just research
05:47But treatment
05:48For ALS
05:49Rebel
05:49The courageous young lady
05:50That she is
05:51Fighting terminal ALS
05:52Trying so hard
05:53To make a difference
05:54For something
05:55That we all should care about
05:56Because we don't know
05:57Why it happens
05:58We don't know
05:58Who it's going to happen to
05:59It's not
06:00There's no guaranteed reason
06:02Why people are affected
06:03By this
06:04We're trying to fix
06:05Things like this
06:06And our federal government
06:08Does the wrong thing
06:09They get tied up
06:10With so many sidebars
06:12That they don't address
06:13Individual issues
06:13Because everybody wants
06:14To get their little caveats
06:16On every piece of legislation

06:59And he really

07:01Started being affected
07:02By it two years ago
07:03And so quickly deteriorated
07:04And now he's gone
07:05People don't understand
07:06The swift nature
07:07That this takes hold of people
07:09Former NFL running back
07:11Chris Johnson
07:12Of the Tennessee Titans
07:13He's affected by it
07:14So quickly
07:15That he is now
07:15Inable to speak
07:17And has to be in a wheelchair
07:18To get everywhere
07:19And it came on so quickly
07:21This is something
07:22We have to find a cure for
07:24And I do not understand
07:25How anybody can justify
07:27Delaying that research
07:28And delaying those treatments
07:29For any political purpose
07:31If you genuinely care about people
07:33And that's what our government
07:34Is supposed to do
