01:19many things that could go wrong here for him 40 and a half i think it's a safe comfortable under

01:30new starting quarterback of the miami dolphins you've heard of him it may not have heard of any
01:34of the wide receivers or tight ends the dolphins have this season and so this makes some sense here
01:39as joe thinks that malik willis is in store for a big game but joe you think the big game

01:45with his legs as opposed to his arm who are the dolphins wide receivers these days i guess chris

01:57what it is look it's caleb douglas it's malik washington it's chris bell it's it's a lot of
02:03jags right and one of them might find success today and chances are some of us are going to run

02:08waiver wire and to look at it but i think what you're looking for is a lot of devon hann

02:14of malik willis and i think this number is relatively low for a defense that still has a lot
02:17of questions max crosby certainly going to get after it we always know that with the raiders but
02:21i think what you're looking for is the opportunity for malik willis to kind of control his own destiny
02:25a little bit in this first game and i would be looking for him if you look at you know
02:29week 16 and
02:30week 17 when he was under center there playing in those games last year 44 rushing yards 60 rushing
02:36yards 39 and a half is pretty low considering uh so for me i i think the only and and
02:42since i am
02:42looking at the dolphins to hang around this game and be competitive i think you're going to see
02:47malik willis getting out there in space you're going to see some designed runs for him as well
02:50take some pressure off because you don't have anything for sure with these wide receivers and
02:56greg dulcet at tight end is not a sure thing either so malik willis over 39 and a half that

03:01prop that i'd be looking for this week to go on the over and i think that's how the dolphins

03:06and what craig is officially calling correctly one of the least interesting games if not the least

03:30hampton uh had a nice rookie season for the los angeles chargers a lot of folks who think that this

03:36breakout season for him and his matchup week one could be the best on paper all season long he goes

03:47they're going through somewhat of a rebuild both on offense but especially on defense here his prop is

04:38amazing data and he's one of the best there is one of the most amazing things in one of the

04:41shows was talking about mike mcdaniel run schemes and specifically you know a chan mostard all these
04:47guys we've seen had success and now that you've got slater and alt healthy again on this offensive line
04:52the chargers deficit last year was the lack of health on that offensive line now that it's healthy
04:56there's nobody better that's scheming running backs to get open and getting them out there in
05:02space than mike mcdaniel and the data proves that even some of these years where the dolphins were
05:08rough in terms of win total they were really good in terms of run total so you have to keep
05:13that in
05:13mind and now he's got a great quarterback to work with who keeps the defense honest as opposed to
05:17you know a more mid-level quarterback a serviceable quarterback into a tongue of ialoa and some other
05:21quarterbacks you work with in miami so i don't want to ladder bet this i don't want to go
05:26alternate yet because it's week one i just want to take the good process and attach it to amari and
05:30hampton in this first week and again i love the team total over as well i just don't know how
05:35much
05:35arizona fight is going to be there in this first week the lions certainly had a lot of success with
05:43david montgomery and it feels like this is back to that situation again this week where montgomery
05:50is getting an opportunity to be a starting running back in the nfl which he once was his number is

05:56today here joe and for those of you who missed the entire off season and that's perfectly fine
06:01that's what we're here for you on pro football today the houston texans uh said farewell to nick
06:05chubb who decided to retire so houston went with david montgomery as they're starting running back
06:12today he's up against the buffalo bills it kind of feels to me that montgomery even though he was
06:17paired up with jameer gibbs for so many years joe is probably going to relish this opportunity to
06:22finally start and get a lot of the carries again it wasn't like that in detroit and by the way
06:27detroit did the right thing i mean jameer gives a superstar oh 100 you want jameer gibbs touching
06:32the football as often as you possibly can and i think it was good for him to not feel the
06:35pressure
06:36and the weight of being the guy right out of the gate too it was good for him to kind
06:39of come along
06:40slowly i think that's why he plays the game with such confidence at the nfl level but going back to
06:44montgomery in this matchup against the bills the bills were at bottom five run defense last year
06:47they gave up the fifth worst rushing total last year and i don't know how much they did
06:52to really alleviate that year over year i know they've had some injuries but if you watch this
06:57team especially in the playoff run too man you saw they could not stop anybody so david montgomery's
07:02total is 60 plus rushing yards i think that's an easy one at minus 114 that you can get and

07:07it's also necessary if you're the texans you want to do two things play defense run the football
07:13don't make cj stroud have to do too much because if you do you might be putting him in a
07:17bad spot
07:17right now until he gets that confidence back if he gets that confidence back but montgomery
07:21against the bills today is a really strong matchup but the jaguar certainly had a lot of different
07:26wide receiving options to open up the season but by the end of the season it wasn't the guys that
07:30they were counting on joe it ended up being myers and washington and it seems like those were the
07:35two favorite targets of trevor lawrence down the stretch will that be the case today
07:40i think it is and five plus receptions at plus money i think this is a gimme here parker washington
07:45didn't get his extension yet i want to emphasize yet but they are telling you the jaguars and they're
07:50showing you he is the main guy where things are going to funnel from especially now that travis hn
07:55is not around so look for a big day for parker washington and the other guys to contribute i think
