00:00Iran said that one of their vessels was just last night in the future of the team.
00:04I don't want to say this.
00:06Mr. President, J.D. Vance, are you ready to throw your weight behind here?
00:10Well, it's too early. I think he's terrific.
00:13We've got so many terrific people. We have, as they call it, a very deep defense.
00:17The most competitive with J.D. Vance.
00:19I just think they're all very good, and J.D. is fantastic, and he did a very good job.
00:24Thank you very much. Ireland was fantastic.
00:28The tournament was record-setting. The attendance was number one.
00:32I have never seen anything like that one because the person in one, Shane, who's a fantastic player,
00:40but he's from Ireland, and he played well. He played fantastic, man.
00:46Everybody was just a very exciting moment.
00:50It was an honor to be here.
00:53We did a lot of business, met with Tashuk, met with various other leaders, and we did a lot of
01:00business.
01:00But it was great to see it. It was a very festive occasion.
01:05A very big thing just happened.
01:08They say your approval rating is really low in Ireland, around 20%, but by the way, those fans and greens,
01:14do you think those polls are incorrect?
01:16I think the polls are fake. My approval rating in Ireland is good.
01:20My approval rating in the U.S. is great.
01:22The problem is only the legitimate polls who show it, as you understand.
01:28So we're doing well. The country is doing very well. Our country is doing very well.
01:32President Trump, are you trying to cut off trade with a nation running a trade deficit with the U.S.
01:38unless the Federal Reserve lowers interest rates?
01:40Are you actually going to follow through with that?
01:42Oh, yeah, yeah. I'm going to do that with some nations. I'll have no choice.
01:46We don't want to have deficits with nations. We want to have surpluses or at least break-evens.
01:52But we have other presidents. Other presidents have allowed tremendous deficits.
01:58And we're not going to have that. So I will be doing this.
02:01What are you doing?
02:02It'll take place over a period of time.
02:04The 9-11 families on Friday asked you to help hold Saudi Arabia accountable for 9-11.
02:11They're asking you to release more records that tie maybe some of the hijackers of the people who do Saudi
02:17Arabia.
02:17I heard that.
02:18Will you be open to that?
02:19Well, I'm going to look at it when I get back. I know they asked me on Friday.
02:23I'll be looking at it when I get back.
02:24Do you think you'll be open to that, though?
02:26I'm good to.
02:26Mr. President, did you see that video of AOC and Manzani laughing at the 9-11 ceremony in New York?
02:32What were your thoughts?
02:33I think it's terrible. It's not a place to be laughing, especially in that case.
02:38I thought it was true. The fact that they were laughing together, and a very important part of the ceremony,
02:42was inappropriate.
02:44Mr. President, what's your reaction to the countries like the UK, Ireland, Canada,
02:49who put sanctions on the Israeli settlers in the West Bank last week? Did you see that?
02:53What sanctions are they?
02:54The UK or about the number of European countries?
02:57I'll look at it. I'm going to see it.
02:59The Prime Minister is calling me on Monday or Tuesday, and I'll be taking a look at it.
03:05Mr. President, what do you think of Ken Paxton's race and such?
03:09It's pretty close. In some cases, the Democrats win it.
03:11Is Ken Paxton doing what he needs to be doing?
03:14I think so. I think the fact that we had such a successful convention really helped Ken Paxton.
03:19He was a big part of it.
03:21Look, I mean, he was a great Attorney General.
03:23Ken Paxton was a great Attorney General, and continues to be, and I think that counts for a lot.
03:30Why don't you think he's doing better?
03:32Well, I think he's tied or leading now.
03:34I think he picked up a lot.
03:36I hear that the convention helped Ken Paxton a lot.
03:39Lindsey Clancy's attorney last week asked you to pardon her.
03:45Is that under consideration?
03:46Well, I know. It's a very sad situation. I certainly heard that.
03:52Look, it's very sad. There is no winner there. There's no win, no matter what you do.
03:59Three children are dead. So, I don't know.
04:02But it's actually a state situation, you know, not a federal.
04:06He's asking you to call the prosecutor in the state. Would you do that?
04:09I appreciate that he feels that way.
04:11And he's a good attorney. I've heard from other people who's a very good attorney.
04:16I hope they can work it out. That's something they have to work out.
04:19It's the very sad. There is no win there.
04:21Are you willing to be with the Republican candidates for governor in Illinois here in Illinois again in this month?
04:28Well, I like the candidate from Illinois. He's a good man.
04:31He had a tragedy, a horrible tragedy.
04:34His family was partially wiped out in a terrible helicopter accident.
04:40Did J.D. Pritzker reach out to you prior to the President's Cup?
04:43No, I think J.D. Pritzker could do the essay in the governor.
04:45You know, you look at what's happening with Spryne, and J.D. Pritzker could lose.
04:50For some reason, Democrats win there. I don't know why.
04:54But Bailey is a very good candidate.
04:57He had a horrible tragedy.
05:00Amazing that he could go forward.
05:02But a large portion of his family would wipe that.
05:07I have already endorsed him. I'm all for Bailey.
05:11Iran says that one of their bedrooms was just last night.
05:14He was in the United States.
05:15I don't want to say that.
05:17Mr. President, J.D. Vance, are you ready to throw your weight behind him in 2020?
05:21Well, it's too early.
05:22I think he's terrific.
05:24We've got so many terrific people.
05:26We have, as they call it, a very deep defense.
05:28Who would be most competitive with J.D. Vance?
05:30You know, I just think they're all very good.
05:32And J.D. is fantastic.
05:33And he did a very good job.
05:35On the WISD tariff, when is that going to happen?
05:38And that's an EU tariff.
05:39Are you taking all the tariffs?
05:40Well, it was very unfair because others have the relief.
05:43They didn't, so I thought I'd do it.
05:46And actually, Shane asked me about it, too.
05:49A lot of people.
05:49It was pretty unfair, so I decided to do it.
05:52But just Ireland or all of these?
05:54Just Ireland.
05:55They already have it.
05:57That's why it was unfair.
05:58The other ones already have it.
06:00Because on the $5,000 check, when did you first come up with that idea?
06:04And how exactly are we going to pay for it?
06:05And that's going forward.
06:06The $5,000 checks have gone forward.
06:09And that's because we're taking it so much money in so different ways, including the tariff.
06:14Is there a plan exactly how we're going to pay for that?
06:16Yeah, yeah, no, I know exactly how we're going to pay for it.
06:18You know, it's interesting on that.
06:20Because everybody says that the great, beautiful bill will never happen.
06:24It happened.
06:25They said that the 1776 of the military, $1,776 would never happen.
06:34And it happened.
06:34They were paid.
06:35And now they say, oh, the $5,000.
06:37The $5,000 is going to happen 100%.
06:39And the reason is because our country is taking in trillions and trillions of dollars.
06:46And it's going to happen because the people deserve it because they were treated so badly by the Democrats and
06:51by Biden.
06:52So remember, they said the great, big, beautiful bill, which is basically 17 bills wrapped up into one, will never
06:59happen.
07:00It happened.
07:00And they said, when I gave the military last year, $1,776,000, 1776, like a certain date that's quite
07:10important.
07:12They said that wasn't going to happen.
07:13That happened.
07:14And what do you think?
07:15I think it's going to happen.
07:16I like that.
07:18You have Congress now.
07:20So why don't you do the checks now versus after the election?
07:23Because I don't want to do it now because if the Democrats go to get in, our country will be
07:28in shambles.
07:29And they won't be able to do it.
07:31If we get in, we're taking a tremendous amount of money.
07:34We're taking in over $20 trillion in terms of investment.
07:38And if the Democrats, all of that money will be thrown out.
07:42If the Democrats get in, they won't be able to pay it.
07:45With me, I've always made money.
07:48Now I make a lot of money for the country.
07:49President, you've told voters to think of you on the ballot and consider you're on the ballot.
07:54Should they then think that this is a referendum on your administration?
07:58Well, maybe.
07:59I don't care.
08:00Whatever it takes.
08:00Because when I run, everybody does well.
08:04When I don't run, maybe they don't go and vote because they don't care.
08:09But I'm asking the voters, the Republican voters, that I get a record vote.
08:13I have voted in the history of the Republican Party.
08:17And if those voters would go out, we will win everything, just like I did.
08:21I won all seven swing states.
08:24We won the popular vote.
08:26Everything was a landslide, including counties.
08:29If you take a look at counties, we won 86% of the counties in the country.
08:34So if we get those people to go out, we're going to have a tremendous victory.
08:39The problem is, if I'm not running, if I'm not on the ballot, they think, oh, I'm not running.
08:43And if they like me, and they do like me.
08:45I mean, I have polls that show me, I'm very popular.
08:48You know, you have a lot of fake polls, but they like me.
08:51Here's the story.
08:52If they get out and vote, we win in a landslide.
08:55Yes, one more question.
08:56There are two sons over there, Mr. President.
08:58There could still be a Trump name on the ballot.
09:02Would it ever happen?
09:03Maybe they could win.
09:05I don't know.
09:06I better not get into that.
09:08But they're good.
09:09You know what?
09:10They work hard, and they're very good people.
09:13I call them kids.
09:14They're not kids, but I call them.
09:16They're still my kids.
09:16They're your kids.
09:17And they're great kids.
09:19What would you do more than that?
09:23I don't care.
09:23Would anybody like to be fresh, sexy, sexy?
09:29No, no.
09:31But I may have developed one over the weekend.
09:34You know?
09:34No, we have a lot of people that want it.
09:38Many people want it.
09:39Many people have been written about, as you know.
09:42But many people want it.
09:44And you know what we're going to do for a little while?
09:46We're going to use the secretaries.
09:49We'll see, you know, Marco, and maybe JD just did it.
09:53He did a great job.
09:55But we're going to use Scott.
09:56We're going to use Howard.
09:57We're going to use a lot of our secretaries.
09:59Lyndon McMahon is still great.
10:01And we'll do it for a little while.
10:02But ultimately, I'll fix up on it.
10:04When will you do it?
10:06We'll do Marco next?
10:07I will.
10:08Thanks, man.
