00:05I am the best wrestler in the world, I beat Homicide, I beat everybody that Ring of Honor
00:18has put in front of me.
00:20I've been on a tear as world champion in ROH.
00:24I've beaten everybody in every place that ROH has gone to.
00:28And that's what makes me a man.
00:39I've beaten the top challengers that have been put against me, and now I'm coming to England.
00:49I'm taking the pure championship and I'm defending it all over the world.
00:55I haven't met one person yet who can take that belt away from me.
01:01There ain't a better pure wrestler in the world than me today.
01:04The greatest champion here in Ring of Honor.
01:06I'm the greatest champion in Ring of Honor history.
01:13Not only will this be a title for title match, but it also will be a title unification battle
01:18between Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness.
01:21It will be held under pure title rules.
01:23There will be a title change, a first one of 2006.

01:39Strong.
01:40You beat Christopher Daniels.
01:41You beat Austin Aries.
01:43But you know what?
01:44I've beat him too.
01:45And now's your chance to see if you can hang with the best wrestler in the world.
01:51I don't think you can.
01:52People tell me he's a better wrestler than me.
01:54People tell me he's a better technical.
01:56He's a better pure wrestler.
01:57You call yourself the real world's champion?
01:59Let's be honest.
02:00You're the underdog here.
02:02I'm the best wrestler in the world.
02:03When we get to Liverpool, I'm going to break your bones.
02:06I'm going to snap your tendons.
02:07And I'm going to take that belt from around your waist and become the first unified champion
02:11in Ring of Honor history.
02:13I'm going to defend my belt over England in it to win it.
02:17Just like Chris Saban, just like Mara Fuji, just like Steve Carino, tonight, you're going
02:22down.
02:23The lizard, Bryan Danielson, that clam digger, that pretender to the real world championship.
02:29I've been studying tapes.
02:31I will do my very best.
02:38I am the world's best pure wrestler.
02:42And I'm the best wrestler in the world.
02:49The world is really, really good.
02:54It's really great.

03:05And you get the money.
03:06You profit the money.
03:07You want to die.
03:09You just want to die.
03:09It's really true.
03:11We refuse to die.
03:14We refuse to die.

08:44Ryan Dillard-Sang!
08:45Ryan Dillard-Sang!
08:46Here are the rules of this match.
08:49You each get three road clicks to break up a pitfall or a submission attempt.
08:55Once you use those three road clicks, the ropes will play and can be used by your opponent,
09:00but it cannot be used by you to break up a pit or a submission.
09:04There is a strict 20 count on the floor.
09:08There will be no close fist strikes to a face.
09:11On the first close fist, you'll be issued a warning.
09:15On the second, you'll be penalized a road break.
09:18And if you have no road price left, you will be disqualified.
09:22And in this match, both the pure title and the real title can change hands on a count out or
09:29disqualification.
09:31In the event of a double pick, double count out or double disqualification, the match will be restarted.
09:44Do you both understand these rules?
09:48Yeah!
09:48Should we shake hands?
09:50Go to your corners and wait for the bell!
09:53wanting to break this aside
09:54I won't wait for you!
09:59Point the balloon, please don't take a row!
10:05Point the balloon, want the balloon!
10:10Point the balloon, I won't wait for you!
10:12What in the balloon?
10:16All's right!
10:31Let's go, let's go, let's go.
10:46Let's go, let's go, let's go.
11:41Let's go, let's go, let's go.
11:46There's no way around it Dave, there will be one champion after tonight.
11:52The world title can change hands in this matchup, on a count out or this qualification.
12:00As this is under pure title rules.
12:07Nothing pure about a slap to the face.
12:09I don't know.
12:14Nigel McGuinness here, wrestling in front of his home country, his home crowd.
12:21Bryan Danielson has spent a good portion of his career several years ago wrestling in Europe, particularly in England.
12:31Whether you like Bryan Danielson or you hate him, there's no denying that he's a fighting champion.
12:37To go into England to defend against Nigel McGuinness, and not under regular rules, under Nigel McGuinness's pure title rules.
12:44Both of these men feel that they are the best champion in the ring of honor.
12:49Danielson has called himself the best in the world.
12:54Another open hand strike, a slap across the face.
12:59Nigel giving Danielson a receipt right there.
13:10The title unification challenges have been issued over the past several shows, and now we get the matchup between these
13:18two men.
13:19Angel McGuinness won the pure title at the Dragon Gate Invasion event on August 27th of 2005.
13:26Has successfully defended the title against the rest of Jay Lethal.
13:30Samoa Joe, Mario Castagnoli, Tony Marlowe, Austin Aries, Christopher Daniels, Armiside, Roderick Strong, Kurt Cabana, and many others as well.
13:43Bryan Danielson, on the other hand, won the world title at the Roy Bionna Four from James Gibson on September
13:4917th, 2005.
13:52Danielson has successfully defended the all-time.
13:54Danielson has successfully defended the all-time against such men as Dee Carino.
13:57Chris Saban, Howard Strong, Christopher Daniels, now Michimaru Fuji, AJ Styles, Jimmy Ray, Alex Shelley, Lance Storm,
14:05Jimmy Yank, nice job trick right there for Bryan Danielson.
14:08Colt Cabana, Delirious Homicide, Sanjay Gotsamo, Joe, you name it.
14:13Bryan Danielson has taken on all-comers tonight.
14:16Rugman will walk away as the world champion here in ring of honor.
14:20Danielson did try to take a second to catch your breath after naming all the people that Danielson and McGuinness
14:29have defended against.
14:30It's an unbelievable risk for both men, but there could only be one champion after tonight.
14:35So much at stake.
14:36Danielson going to work on the arm of Nigel McGuinness, holding on to the wrist block.
14:41McGuinness, though, going forward, right back to his feet.
14:44Snap there, brings Dragon down to the canvas, and a kick to the back.
14:51Dancing back to his feet, trying to shake it off.
14:56Come on, guys.
14:58Benjamin Gunness, dancing him up.
15:00He's in the center of the ring there.
15:02We've talked before about the challenges that we've heard over the past couple of months.
15:07We've heard the challenges.
15:08We've heard the rumors.
15:09Honestly, Gabe, I never thought it would happen.
15:11All the politics involved, to have a unification of the Pro Hall title, I can't believe it's actually happened.
15:17And it's the one way to determine who is the better wrestler, who is the better champion between these two
15:22men.
15:24This is the third match between these two competitors.
15:27The previous two both took place in Cleveland, Ohio.
15:30The first at Weekend of Champions Night 2, and the second at the last Cleveland event.
15:38Generation Now is the title.
15:41Nigel won the first matchup.
15:43Nia Kana after utilizing a chair as Danielson springboarded into the crowd, only to get met with the chair.
15:51And he counted out as Danielson come back and sold the ring.
15:54One, two, three.
15:56Danielson won the second matchup with a small package.
16:01Nigel.
16:03If you want at the back now is Bryan Danielson.
16:09Each man has defeated the other under the respective rules that the titles will hold.
16:15And so it's got to be a psychological advantage here for McGinnis.
16:18He's already faced Danielson running the third title moves, and he's beaten him.
16:25Danielson going to work on the arm of McGinnis.
16:28Something that Marjorie likes to do to his appearance.
16:31Work over the arm.
16:36Danielson twists away at the arm of McGinnis.
16:39Now brings the arm down across the shoulder.
16:41Arm breaker.
16:43More damage done.
16:45Going to work on the shoulder as well.
16:47Arm breaker by Danielson.
16:49And the shoulder thrust.
16:52Takes down McGinnis.
16:54Keeping it down on the canvas and bending the fingers back as well as the rest.
17:01Very close to the left, trying to paint management to utilizing a rope right here.
17:09He also takes him down by the arm.
17:13And again bending back on the wrist and the fingers.
17:18Stepping over.
17:19Really wrenching on that arm.
17:21Nigel.
17:21No sir.
17:22Still don't want to get him.
17:23No sir.
17:24Still no sir.
17:26Pulling back down on the hand of Nigel McGinnis.
17:29Nigel.
17:29No.
17:30No.
17:31No.
17:32No.
17:34No.
17:39No.
17:41No you don't want to get him.
18:02The Warren Champion in control of the match, only gets a near fly now.
18:09Danielson picks up McGinnis, butterflies the arms.
18:14McGinnis uses his power to bring Ryan Danielson into the corner.
18:19But Danielson able to spin him around.
18:22Nice European uppercut by the world champion.
18:27These men throw some really hard-hitting European uppercuts.
18:32Very precise.
18:39Pulling McGinnis out of the corner, butterflying the arms.
18:42Reflects from Danielson.
18:46Will McGinnis use a left right? He does.
18:51His foot reaches the bottom right and boosts a break of the horn.
18:5449 fails and hasn't so far.
18:56McGinnis only has two up breaks remaining.
19:04Danielson now allowing himself to be distracted here by the crowd in Liverpool.
19:09He needs to focus on his man and get back on the attack.
19:13The first two matches between these two men have been absolute classics.
19:18This is becoming a true wrestling feud between these two men.
19:25The first two matches.
19:25Kick to the back and down across the chest with the arm.
19:28And we're seeing the final chapter of two classic trilogies.
19:33As we just saw the third match between Aries and Strong and the Brisco brothers.
19:37And now we're treated to the third match between McGinnis and Danielson.
19:48Driving down onto the arm of Bryan Danielson.
19:52Without a doubt this show focused on bringing the hottest feuds of Ring of Honor to the UK.
19:57And having the championships defended here in England.
20:06Tomorrow at night we will bring you some unique matches with some of the international talent against the stars of
20:12RH.
20:14Here's McGinnis all the way across the ring with the European Uppercut.
20:18Speaking of international talent, not only have we seen tonight some of the top stars from the UK.
20:24We also saw Suwa Ngo Shiozaki from Pro Wrestling Noir of Japan.
20:30It will be interesting to see what matchups they have tomorrow night.
20:33European Uppercut from McGinnis.
20:35Danielson trying to stay on his feet and shake off the effects.
20:41Another hard European Uppercut sends Danielson down.
20:45McGinnis in a two-init as always.
20:47Measured up his head and knocked him down with the European Uppercut.
20:52And now opting to go for an over-crunch on the ground.
20:58Tempting Bryan Danielson to utilize the ropes here.
21:00Use out one of his rope ropes.
21:05And then allowing Danielson to each his way toward the ropes so that he might put it to use.
21:11While still doing damage with the hold.
21:15Danielson thinking about using that rope break.
21:19Trying not to.
21:20Trying to figure out maybe a different way to get out of this hole without using the rope break.
21:28Works his way back to his feet.
21:33Going for the short arm clothesline.
21:34Step up into Gary from Dragon.
21:38And we've seen McGinnis many times use that rope where Clark spun into a clothesline.
21:42But Danielson had it very well scouted.
21:45Was able to duck under and counter with that kick right to the back of the head.
21:50And Danielson going to work on the legs now.
21:52Maybe you're looking to cinch in the Mexican circle.
21:54Fighting for the arms.
21:56And McGinnis.
21:58And McGinnis.
21:59Rocking back around.
22:04Screw you people.
22:06And instead drives the knees of McGinnis down into the mat.
22:09Up and down goes Danielson onto the knees and the hamstrings of the pure champion Nigel McGinnis.
22:16And Nigel McGinnis is in obvious pain here.
22:22Kicking all the way at the back of the units.
22:26Kicking all the way at the back of the units.
22:28That relates McGinnis to the top turnbuckle.
22:33And that's maybe looking for a superplex.
22:36All the way to the top goes Danielson.
22:40And McGinnis up top as well.
22:45Letting McGinnis think about it.
22:50Superplex.
22:52McGinnis on his back.
22:53Danielson quickly to the top.
22:58Diving head bow.
23:01It's the wing.
23:04Now he gets his shoulder up.
23:06And he's holding the arms.
23:09Kicking all the way shit.
23:10Nigel.
23:11No.
23:14No switch.
23:16Nigel.
23:17Nigel.
23:18No.
23:21No switch.
23:24Nigel uses his second rope leg to escape cannibalization.
23:29That is rope break number two for Nigel McGinnis.
23:33He has one rope break left.
23:35And then the ropes cannot save him any longer.
23:38And the ropes are in play for Bryan Danielson.
23:41Bryan Danielson feeling pretty good about it.
23:44He's caused McGinnis to use two of his rope breaks.
23:48McGinnis right back to his feet.
23:50Takes away.
23:51Danielson's balance on the top.
23:54And in.
23:59And Danielson gets his foot across the bottom row.
24:05And now what's Nigel doing?
24:08He's using cattle mutilation on Danielson.
24:11He beat DeRuys with his very hold.
24:29Danielson struggling.
24:31And reaches the bottom row.
24:33That is rope break number two for Bryan Danielson.
24:37And that is the second rope break used by Bryan Danielson.
24:41Both men with one rope break remaining.
24:47And you have to watch the 20 count on the floor.
24:50And he's not just held under pure title rules.
24:52And on the outside is where things went to the advantage of Nigel McGinnis.
24:58He is proven to be a master when it comes to causing count outs.
25:03And he could win the world title tonight with a count.
25:06Bring on the brakes.
25:08James McGinnis face first into the table.
25:14And once again McGinnis laid out on the table.
25:20And he's standing on the side of the face and the throat.
25:24And McGinnis just choking away.
25:25Look at the expression on the face of a champion.
25:28The world champion there.
25:30And you notice that with the chairs and tables hold in them.
25:33He doesn't seem to break as easily as he can do those things.
25:36Oh wow.
25:36And now Bryan Danielson utilizing the table to keep Nigel down on the floor.
25:42And this is a tactic that we saw Nigel McGinnis try to put to use against Bryan Danielson in Cleveland.
25:48To try to keep him down on the floor.
25:51And utilize the count out to his advantage.
25:55Danielson now trying to use the same strategy against McGinnis.
26:00The pure title is in jeopardy.
26:05Can McGinnis get in the ring?
26:09He does.
26:16Both of them back inside.
26:21One shot from Danielson.
26:23McGinnis fires back with one of his own.
26:26Back and forth they go.
26:27Back and forth.
26:31Back and forth.
26:32Back and forth.
26:34Back and forth.
26:34Back and forth.
26:35Back and forth.
26:35Back and forth.
26:36Back and forth.
26:37Back and forth.
26:37Back and forth.
26:39Back and forth.
26:41Back and forth.
26:42Back and forth.
26:44Back and forth.
26:47Back and forth.
26:51Back and forth.
26:55Back and forth.
26:57him and secure the R-H World Championship and as I say that it looks like Nigel McGinnis
27:03is beating from the mouth now and stand in the corner, drop kick to the head of McGinnis.
27:11Right, four, cover, no he gets his shoulder up, Anderson going for it, getting the O-H,
27:20changing it up, looking for the classmate's chicken wing, this is how he won the world
27:25title from James Gibson, he's got the cross-face chicken wing, locked in perfectly in the center
27:33of the ring, will Nigel McGinnis tap out, he's got the body scissors, this could be it, Dave.
27:43He's got it cinched in, will McGinnis tap?
27:53McGinnis uses his third and Connor will break, the Rips cannot save Nigel McGinnis and they
27:59are now in play for Bryan Danielson. Look at the confidence on the face of the world champion.
28:06And he's got the ring, and I will chill every single day!
28:14Shelby may be a little overconfident here. German suplex, goes McGinnis on his head.
28:21And perhaps Danielson could be setting it out soon for a count of mutilation, there's no
28:25rough breaks left for McGinnis.
28:27Danielson certainly in the driver's seat of this match, and over on top!
28:34The dragon flies!
28:37But McGinnis gets the boot up, and wants the attempt of a bowing headbutt!
28:41Garfield! Garfield! Garfield! Garfield!
28:45Garfield! Garfield! Garfield!
28:46Garfield! Garfield! Garfield!
28:55Garfield! Garfield! Garfield!
28:56He's gonna make it back to their feet first, and get us on his knees!
29:01Dannison back to his feet!
29:04Alexander Zadehson!
29:04Garfield!
29:06Garfield!
29:09Garfield!
29:23Garfield!
29:29A brutal exchange of open hand strikes, Danielson charges with the leaping forearm in the corner.
29:38Going for the Dragon's Suplex but blocked, McGinnis places Danielson on the top rope.
30:09And Bryan Danielson uses his name by a wide weight break.
30:24And now for both men, getting caught in a submission is beyond extremely dangerous, no more points as you said,
30:33and you've got to think Danielson's got to try to go for the caught in mutilation, and you may even
30:38see McGinnis go for the caught in mutilation once again.
30:41McGinnis slowly, coming up top, Danielson back to his feet, full arm shot to the bloody mouth of Nigel McGinnis.
30:50Dragon looking for the superplex, McGinnis trying to fight it off, headbutt, down goes Dragon. Back to his feet, jump
31:06kick.
31:10Danielson out to the apron. Look at him in mind. The ropes are in play, he can lock in, across
31:18this chicken wing, off the ropes.
31:23He's got extra leverage on the ropes here. McGinnis has no way to go in this position, but he give
31:32it up.
31:33He could be trapped here, Dave. Now he got his arm free, battling out of it.
31:46one, two, one!
31:48One, two, one!
31:52Only two!
31:57Every head is pulling on their feet!
32:01Keep hiện, thumb!
32:10The buzz in the air is unbelievable.
32:13As both they continue to run with Danielsson who's shoulder first into the ring post.
32:20Oh, but he just pulled the hook.
32:22Oh, but again.
32:24Oh, but again, it's colliding with the ring post.
32:29Oh, he's busted.
32:32He's going to have a concussion at the ball.
32:35I'm going down the face of Nigel McGuinness.
32:38Not only the play, but the break post busting his head wide open.
32:43Danielsson off the ropes.
32:44He's going to have a concussion at the ball.
32:47McGuinness into the front wall.
32:51How can Nigel make it back into the ring?
32:56He can lose the pure title there by Kyle Danielsson.
32:59Come on, come on.
33:04Holy shit.
33:06Holy shit.
33:08Holy shit.
33:09Holy shit.
33:12Holy shit.
33:13Holy shit.
33:14Holy shit.
33:16Holy shit.
33:17Holy shit.
33:17Holy shit.
33:17Holy shit.
33:18That's going to be in from Nigelis.
33:21This is awesome.
33:23Danielsson needs to get back inside the ring.
33:25The somersault portrait from Brian Danielsson completely went on McGuinness, but somehow
33:32McGuinness manages to get back to his feet.
33:35Unbelievable.
33:36The blood pouring down his face.
33:41His eyes are glazed over.
33:43Everybody knows where he's at.
33:45Danielsson tumbles over the barricade.
33:47Back to the right side area.
33:50Nigel trying to struggle.
33:51Back over the barricade himself.
33:54There's no question, Dave, from the eyes of McGuinness.
33:56He definitely has a concussion.
33:58And I don't know if he's going to be able to get back into the ring.
34:01And even if he does, what do you have McGuinness have left?
34:05You see the blood of Nigel McGuinness on the back of Brian Danielsson.
34:10Kicking Ryan McGuinness, sending him back over the guardrail.
34:1312.
34:14The counts of nine.
34:16Come on, Nigel.
34:18Come on, Nigel.
34:19Janison, back inside the ring.
34:20Come on, Nigel.
34:23Come on, Nigel.
34:2618.
34:27Oh, my God.
34:28Come on, Nigel.
34:29Come on, Nigel.
34:31Come on, Nigel.
34:33Come on.
34:34Come on, Nigel.
34:3918.
34:41Greg Moises.
34:45And the count of 19!
35:13They're putting it all on the line!
