00:05terry mclaurin yesterday and he said exactly what you were saying b that you know against the eagles
00:10he was kind of facing cloud coverage for most of that game and it had a significant impact
00:15and i think that in a lot of ways helped antonio williams get open i'm curious
00:22one thing that terry said that i thought was really interesting was their new the cowboys
00:29new defensive coordinator comes from the eagles right so they will probably try to run some of
00:33the same systems but they don't have the players that's what terry said it more diplomatically he's
00:37like i'm saying but can they execute the same way i'm not sure yeah and that's the thing about it

00:42i i hear people like well you got to get the ball to your player some teams are better at
00:48it than
00:48others and when you get to a team like the eagles with vic fangio the next guys have to step

00:57you saw williams do that you saw um digs eventually do that that's what's going to happen it's going to
01:02be some weeks but it's going to be weeks where they try to do it and terry's going to still

01:06them because they don't have the personnel to get it done so it's just allow this thing to begin to
01:11transpire i don't think they have um like they don't have everything fully uh operational how they
01:20they're going to be yeah give them a chance to get the thing developed um one of honestly maybe

02:42comfortable at that number i think the rest of this though that's what you're talking about bill
02:47at 17 single tear bill at 17 rashad white gets five and maybe katron gets bumped up a little bit

03:44and of the running back rooms i think we're of the running back room i think we were both encouraged

04:58can get that fish right on the football it's coming out of there so that's all i'm i would tell

05:48tries that like my biggest question in this game is not about the offensive side of the ball i think
05:55they will commit to the run game whether they succeed we'll see i think they will succeed in
06:00the pass game i think that dallas is without malik hooker and the linebacker over show you asked me
06:04about the biggest matchup i'm looking at the defensive matchup and i'm not looking at what people would
06:09think okay yes it's going to eventually end up being our our dbs against their receivers but if
06:16our front is beating ass up there their receivers not gonna have the chance to do what they like to

06:22because they like to wait and wait and pat and let them develop a lot of deep plays if the
06:27pressure
06:28is getting to that and he can't sit there and wait that doesn't happen so i ultimately is our pass

07:07you know a fairly impressive training camp in preseason um they released ricky barber so they
07:12could promote a corner to the active roster from the practice squad isaac yodham i hope i'm saying

07:36injuries of the linebacker depth and yet the biggest questions have been about mikey sammer

07:56the reason there's more concern this week is because of pickens and lamb like you do have to
08:00you do have to play the opponent here and i think that's a difficult opponent so durante jones was
08:05asked specifically about george pickens and cd lamb and what washington needs to do
08:11they've shown that they've dominated defensive backs in this league regardless of the size that's not like
08:16a one-man job so to speak in terms of how we want to handle that so i think that's
08:21a team effort
08:21collective effort that's disguises that's the back end that's the linebacker that's the rush to your
08:27point brian i'm reading again everything ties in well with trying to minimize the impact that cd lamb
08:33and george pickens have on the game and again those are two special guys in the game against new york
08:40which was the final score does not show how one-sided that game was cd lamb and george pickens
08:47combined for eight catches and about 75 yards if you can keep those two under a collective 10 and 100
08:55i really like washington's chances yeah hell yeah because they live off a big place and what they do
09:04normally you get somebody blow a coverage that gets four or five seconds to throw the ball or somebody
09:10just misses a tackle you know i'm saying somebody take the wrong angle and try to intercept the ball
09:17and you end up going past the guy he catches the ball for wide wide field in front of him
09:22minimize the big play and i think you have a better chance against that one it is a football friday

10:07really operate over the middle and jaden does a great job of delivering the football and so for him
10:12it's just continued to build on what he did this week i feel like um as a young player in
10:16any position
10:17uh anybody could really have success one week but can you start stacking those weeks and stacking
10:21those practices and building those pro-like habits and uh you know he's a very um open book to
10:28learn um he's in a great room that we're going to continue to push him but i think
10:32as the season progresses he's going to continue to get more opportunities
10:37b i think he'll continue to get more opportunities if we see similar coverages from the cowboys that
10:44we saw in philly do you think antonio williams just keeps taking advantage i think he will i mean you
10:49watch what he did in that game and uh from the beginning i've said he gets he loves how to

10:55separation yeah he knows how to get separated he's wiggly but i think what happens eventually is
10:59he gets to if he keeps stacking games like that teams can't do what they're trying to do now they
11:06got to play more honest and when you get more honest against terry and diggs and and you see how
11:11antonio is coming along advantage commanders it's going to be an opportunity i'm curious who's going
11:17to be the leading receiver in this one in game one it was antonio williams with steph diggs just
11:22behind him and terry really got no work except for a very important fourth down catch that he made
11:27on a fourth and two to keep the ball game alive
