00:06di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, at Istana Hinggap Negeri Sembilan
00:12in Bukit Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur, on Monday. Anwar arrived at the palace at exactly 6pm
00:19before meeting Tuanku Muhriz for nearly an hour. He was later seen leaving the palace at 6.58pm.
00:26As media personnel sought comments from him after the audience, Anwar briefly lowered his car window
00:34and said it was raining. The audience came after members of the State Executive Council
00:40endorsed a proclamation to remove Tuanku Muhriz and recognised Tunku Nazarudin Tuanku Jaafar
00:47as the new ruler. The State's Dewan Keadilan dan Undang has maintained that Tuanku Muhriz
00:54remains the rightful ruler. On September 17th, the Attorney General's chambers said the
01:00proclamation dated April 19th was invalid because it did not meet mandatory requirements under the
01:07State Constitution. It also said the Mentri Besar and Executive Council had no unilateral authority
01:15to remove the ruler or declare the position vacant. Anwar said on September 18th that any move
01:23concerning the ruler's position must follow the prescribed procedures and urged Mentri Besar
01:29Datuk Ismail Laseem and the State Government not to bow to political pressure.
