00:07media sources. The unidentified woman's body was found wrapped in a duvet on Sunday afternoon in
00:14Soweto. Estimated to be in her twenties, the circumstances of the woman's death have not
00:19yet been revealed by the ongoing investigation. The discovery comes after a series of nine other
00:26women being found dead in the outskirts of Johannesburg since July. At the same time,
00:32police forces announced having arrested three suspects in connection with one of the other
00:37killings on Monday. The arrests come as a breakthrough in an investigation that has
00:43faced mounting public pressure over the seemingly violent deaths of the victims, sparking a national
00:49outcry about the scale of femicides. South African police have still not established whether the
00:55ten cases are connected, or whether a serial killer could be behind the women's deaths.
