00:04It all begins Monday night and Tuesday.
00:07Pressure difference between high pressure building across Ontario and Quebec
00:12and a low pressure forming off the Virginia coast starts the strong gusty winds,
00:17first along the Mid-Atlantic coast as we head into Tuesday and Wednesday.
00:23Then that storm, week at first, starts to intensify late this week,
00:29Thursday and Friday off the Jersey coast,
00:33and that makes the stormiest conditions seem more likely for New England.
00:38Now, what are we talking about here?
00:39Significant rain, but the wind is going to cause the most problems.
00:44So again, we're going to have some damage, we think,
00:46along the Mid-Atlantic coast from the Outer Banks, North Carolina,
00:49toward the Virginia and Delaware coast as we get into Tuesday and Wednesday.
00:54We'll have wind gusts, 30 to 40 miles per hour, some rough surf and some coastal damage.
00:59But the worst of the storm potentially will be Thursday, Friday and the Saturday
01:05from eastern Long Island to eastern New England,
01:07where conditions could resemble a tropical storm.
