G7 leaders call on Yemen's Houthis to stop strikes on Saudi Arabia

The Houthis staged an offensive in recent weeks to take over Yemen's entire Red Sea coast, threatening global trade and pushing up energy prices up.

00:00The leaders of the G7 nations have urged Yemen's Houthis to halt attacks on Saudi Arabia while Britain and France
00:06have pledged defensive support to Riyadh.
00:08In a joint statement, the G7 called on the Houthis to immediately seize military actions and attacks on civilian shipping

00:17They also called on Iran to end its arming and support of the Houthis.
