00:00Coach, I made a statement about Jackson Dart in the open here.
00:03Real quick here.
00:04How do you protect a quarterback from himself sometimes?
00:08Guy's always hurt two years in now,
00:10and you can't build a game plan around a guy who's always hurt.
00:13Yeah, that's tough.
00:15You know, the pocket mobility is really important.
00:17It's not being quick or fast.
00:19It's just being able to move judiciously in the pocket,
00:22not just caught standing there.
00:24And you've got to step up.
00:25You have to have more movement in the pocket than what he's familiar with.
00:29I just don't like how he sets back there.
00:32He's too isolated.
00:33He's got to get up and move around inside that pocket to get the ball off.
00:36And that's what Mahomes does.
00:37He can throw it on one foot to the side to avoid a hit,
00:40and he's just not there yet.
00:43Yeah, no doubt about it.
00:44And I think that's a great observation, Coach,
00:47that he just does not step up in the pocket,
00:49and he takes off, and he's giving himself too much risk.
00:53This guy's in the blue tent the entire time.
