00:00So this is a process. We're nowhere near the end of that process yet and this will
00:06be an iterative conversation between schools and the directorate. We've kept
00:11aside some funding for the exceptions process to ensure that that conversation
00:17is based not on having to rebalance within the budgets that have been
00:25provided but there is some additional funding sitting there to support schools
00:29to make that transition. I recognise that that conversation has been really
00:33difficult and that communication probably could have been better. Timelines maybe
00:38were very very tight for principals. It's been a complex process. It's the first
00:42time that we've done school budgets in this way and so we've learnt through the
00:48process as well. There's been a really intensive process of bringing a whole
00:53range of different subject matter experts together to work with principals on what
00:57the options are for their school, looking at their timetabling, class compositions,
01:01looking at a whole range of their staffing structures in schools and
01:05looking at where there are opportunities for efficiencies and streamlining. So
01:10there's been a lot of engagement and we keep acknowledging people are finding it
01:15hard, change is hard, but overall people are engaging really well. So if we're
01:21talking about schools that are already operating under pressure, schools that
01:25are already operating with a workforce on the brink, you can imagine what these
01:30cuts will do. That has an impact on everything from the disruptions to student
01:35learning, to the impact on teacher well-being, to of course addressing
01:39occupational violence and social behaviour that we see in our schools and those
01:44issues as well. So of course it will have a huge impact on safety.
01:51And now we have the last level of addressing all of the work that will have
