00:42How do you build trust despite those sorts of challenges?
00:47I think that leaders, especially leaders of big and important countries like China and the United States,
00:55should know that mutual understanding and compromise is the essence of the success.
01:03I'm following, of course, all these events in China and the United States.
01:09And definitely China is ready to play a very important role and to be a good partner.
01:15I hope it will happen also with President Trump.
01:19And it's very important, not just for these two countries, but for the whole world.
01:25Let's not forget, President Trump was in Beijing in May.
01:29Do you see this as ushering in a more stable phase in U.S.-China relations?
01:34Or do you think that there are fundamental differences between the two that they simply won't be able to overcome?
01:40No, definitely they are competing.
01:43It's probably understandable.
01:45But this competition should be in good mood.
01:51That means they should understand each other and try to find compromise.
01:55Definitely having frequent mutual visits is very important for relations.
02:01And I guess and I hope that this third visit is a sign of a good relation and a reason
02:11for optimism.
02:12Not only for those two big countries, but for the whole world.
02:16Realistically, what do you think could come of this meeting in Washington this week?
02:21Do you think we're going to see an agreement on AI and how to keep the world safe?
02:25Do you think we're going to see an extension to the tariff truce?
02:29Definitely, I have expectations not only concerning AI, but also global trade and global security as well.
02:39Now it looks that AI is not so simple as it looks.
02:44It's, of course, a big step for humanity, but also some dangers, followed by some dangers,
02:52especially in the field of security, because there are many signs that AI is trying to establish itself as independent
03:02force in this world.
03:04So I think that security measures towards AI are very important and that two big countries are going to lead
03:14this process in the world.
