01:54Alright, so one of the things I was asked the other day was
01:59how the relationships are over the years with the lions.
02:04And I think how best to describe it is it's very similar to humans.
02:11As you get older, I think the energy levels definitely dwindle.
02:16So you're looking at lions.
02:18Some of them are the equivalent of 80 years of age in human years.
02:23Some of them even older.
02:25And so it's to be expected that they don't have the same levels of energy
02:29that they once had when they were like five or four years old.
02:33And so a lot of people go,
02:35Oh, we used to see documentaries where the lions used to run and jump
02:38and do all sorts of things like that.
02:39So they still do run and they still do jump,
02:42but it's just not at the same frequency
02:44and the weather plays a factor.
02:46And, you know, if it's too hot like today,
02:49the lions, their energy is sapped,
02:52as well as the fact that they got fed yesterday.
02:54So it's never the best to come visit lions on a full stomach.
02:59It's always best, contrary to what people think,
03:03that they're going to be super hungry
03:05and that's going to make them more dangerous towards me.
03:08It's not true at all.
03:10All it does is an empty stomach on the lions,
03:13basically makes them more active.
03:17And once they get that full belly,
03:19then it's time to sleep.
03:20It's time to digest.
03:21So the mere fact that lions will even bother to get up in 30,
03:25it's probably now about 32 degrees,
03:27in 32 degree heat with a full belly,
03:30the fact that they actually bother to get up and come solo is amazing.

06:17uh carcass and the carcass obviously contain ticks and uh they just transfer from the carcass to him
06:25and so what we got to do is regularly we do regularly de-tick but uh with me being away
06:33uh the guys have obviously not uh had the ability thanks for coming to say hello
