00:29but the protocols for notifying the government, the speed at which information was passed to the appropriate authorities was far

00:38And quite clearly this is an area that's evolving so quickly it really does need a lot of governance to

00:47And I think this event probably will help very much to focus attention on that urgent requirement.
00:55We know, of course, that AI is going to be a focus of the meeting between President Xi and Trump.

01:10Well, look, we should not excessively raise expectations about what can be achieved in an elitist meeting like that.
01:21I think it's still fairly open what might be discussed,
01:27but certainly I saw in the preliminary officials' meetings that there was some talk of an early warning system.
01:35I don't really know what that means, but certainly it points to the leaders recognising that there needs to be
01:43a degree of international cooperation around all of this.
