00:04We welcomed President Donald Trump's 20-point plan.
00:10We also welcomed Security Council Resolution 2803
00:16and the roadmap for implementing the second phase.
00:19This was to hold the aggression against our people
00:23and their humanitarian suffering
00:26and secure the withdrawal of the occupation forces
00:29from the Gaza Strip and begin rebuilding the Gaza Strip.
00:34However, regretfully, we have not seen
00:37any of this materialize on the ground.
00:43The Israeli killing and aggression
00:45continue to claim the lives of men, women, and children in Gaza.
00:54Nearly a year has passed
00:55since the adoption of Resolution 2803
00:59and the establishment of the Board of Peace.
01:04And only one year remains
01:06of the designated transitional period
01:09before the end of 2027.
01:14Therefore, we call for accelerating
01:17the implementation of the second phase
01:19rather than wasting any more time.
01:21The transitional period must not be allowed
01:24to become a permanent or open-ended situation
01:28without any clear time-bound political horizon.
01:33Rather, it must lead to the reunification
01:36of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank,
01:39including East Jerusalem,
01:40under the authority of the State of Palestine
01:43and its legitimate institutions
01:45in accordance with the principle of
01:48one state,
01:50one government,
01:52one law,
01:54and one legitimate entity
01:56authorized to bear arms.
01:59How much longer
02:01will some states continue
02:02to remain silent on Israel
02:04or supply it
02:06with the weapons that it uses
02:07against our people?
02:12The world has witnessed
02:14the tremendous cost
02:15in the Gaza Strip
02:16and the West Bank.
02:18So what is the international community
02:21waiting for
02:21in order to protect
02:22the Palestinian people,
02:25ensure their continued presence
02:26on their land,
02:27end the Israeli occupation,
02:29and implement
02:30the two-state solution
02:32on the basis
02:33of international legitimacy?
02:36This solution guarantees
02:38peace for all
02:39instead of the threat
02:42emanating from Israeli extremism,
02:44which seeks to expand
02:46its colonial project
02:50towards establishing
02:51the so-called greater Israel
02:55and completely erasing
02:57Palestinian presence.
