00:01I left sunny Perth a few days ago and now I'm regretting my decision to wear shorts today.
00:07I'm shivering but very excited.
00:11Yeah, the Wharfie wagon, the Flagon wagon, the Wharfie mobile, whatever you want to call it.
00:15We had a Santa Fe wrapped in purple, flag mantle on the side, a few players on there.
00:21And yeah, we left Fremantle 8 o'clock Monday morning and arrived in Melbourne on Thursday morning.
00:28So it was a big trip but yeah, unbelievable experience, wouldn't have it any other way.
00:33And I'm not sure if we saved money but we certainly made a lot of memories.
00:40I didn't know the Nullar Ball plane had peak hour but we came across a lot of fellow Freo fans
00:45also making the trip.
00:47I don't think there was a roadhouse stop where we didn't have Dockers fans coming up.
00:52They wanted to sign the car, take photos with the car.
00:54So now it was awesome and now that we're here, starting to see how many people have come across.
01:00It's a fully-fledged purple invasion but the rental company don't know that it's been wrapped.
01:06So as soon as we get our deposit back, then we'll let them know.
01:11Unfortunately, it had Vic number plates on them.
01:13We wish it had WA plates on but that's okay.
01:15It's been a whirlwind of a week, went to Sydney for the prelim, came back to Perth and then the
01:20drive over.
01:21So I'm not sure I've really sort of taken the time to let this all sink in but it means
01:27so much to so many people.
01:29It's, you know, hoping that we see the first ever flag, it's priceless and that's why there's so many Fremantle
01:34fans here.
01:35And I'm looking forward to seeing some vision out of Fremantle this afternoon as well because no doubt that place
01:42will be going off.
01:4332 kilometres for the 32 years that we have waited for a Fremantle flag and fingers crossed that ends in
01:50a few hours.
01:51So yeah, the 32 kilometres and then someone by the name of Carrie in the comments section, once I posted
01:57that, she said it would be a great idea to use it to fundraise.
02:01So on GoFundMe, I linked that to the Starlight Children's Foundation who helps sick kids in hospital.
02:07They've been a partner with Fremantle for 20-odd years so I thought that would be a fitting organisation to
02:14partner with.
02:15And we've raised so far 17 and a half grand for the Starlight Children's Foundation and that's still open as
02:22well.
02:22So I think if Fremantle win, people might get a little bit more generous and who knows, my initial target
02:28was 3.2k, I reckon we can get to 32k.
02:31This, I'm not sure how far this scarf goes back, but in fact, I'm not sure if my sister's watching
02:38back in Perth.
02:38I think she claims this one's hers, but they all look the same, so I also ran in it, so
02:44I doused it in deodorant and we're good to go again.
02:46But it was, it's tough to pick, it's tough to pick which kit to go with, but this jacket, it's
02:52a pretty good one.
02:53I actually forgot it at the pub on Thursday night, I gave them a ring and luckily they put it
02:57behind the bar for me to go and collect again,
02:59because it would have been fuming if I couldn't wear this.
