00:30Yeah, I mean, I started the race and, yeah, like I said before, I didn't really think I could follow
00:36the best guys up the climbs, so I made it a goal to try and get ahead.
00:42So, yeah, getting in that early break, I thought it was great. I thought maybe it was a bit too
00:47early, maybe a bit too far out from the finish, and, yeah, I was worried I'd spend myself in the
00:55first part of the race, but I kept it controlled.
00:57And, yeah, just stayed focused, and, I don't know, somehow I kept going, and I kept thinking I was going
01:06to get caught.
01:07But I just expected it, and somehow it never happened, so, yeah.
01:13And when you cross that line, what goes through your mind?
01:17Yeah, just honestly, disbelief, I don't know.
01:23Yeah, it's surreal.
01:27There's so much that I put into this, and so much that, you know, so many people that support me
01:33have put into it, so to win here is just incredible.
01:39In front of my family and friends, and, you know, I think everybody who supported me in the sport was
01:45watching today, so I was really happy to be able to do it for them.
01:49That jersey that you're wearing, I suppose it was in the back of your mind, maybe it was a dream
01:55when you were a younger rider?
01:57Definitely, I've dreamed of it for a long time, and I've dreamed of racing on this course, too.
02:03Like, my first memory of cycling was watching my dad do his last race here in Montreal.
02:09I was, like, five or six years old, and I've watched the GP Montreal over the years, and, you know,
02:18from the moment the Worlds in Montreal was announced, I wanted to make it a goal.
02:24And, yeah, honestly, it's unreal.
02:29I can't believe I won here today.
