00:09So how has that felt to go in front of all these different audiences and experience them experiencing you?
00:13It's been really fun.
00:15I feel like it's been a very busy spring and summer.
00:18I love performing.
00:19I just, I'm like fresh off of tour right now.
00:21I just flew in from my Boston show last night.

00:28When you think about your tour and when you think about the music videos.
00:30So how much thought do you put into the music videos since we're here at the VMAs?
00:33Oh, so much.

00:36I feel like whether it's like the costumes, the color choices, like props, everything.
00:42I really think about it really heavily.
00:44I feel like I use a lot of symbolism in my videos.
00:46And yeah, they take a long time to come together.
00:50But I feel like my visuals are kind of something I'm the most proud of with this album and in
00:54my project.
00:54Just because we put so much time and work into it.
00:56And down to like on the color grading calls, like every hue of lavender and teal.
01:03Like it's so, so specific and so, you know.

01:07I'm like really nitpicky, but it works out.

01:10And as fans are discovering you, what's been one of your favorite things that people have discovered about you that

01:16Maybe that I feel like my performances are like resonating a lot with people.
01:20Or they're like, whoa, she can really sing.
01:22And I'm like, well, yeah, that's my job.
01:24I'm a singer, I guess.
01:25But yeah, I feel like my music has always been very kind of, you know, electronic and like pop leaning.
01:30So it's fun when people come to shows and to like do my annoying, like flex my vocals thing.
01:36And I love, yeah, I love, I love it.

01:38And I feel like you celebrated a birthday recently.

01:40How did you celebrate?
01:41Oh my gosh.
01:41In Texas with my family.
01:43My mom and sister came and it was really beautiful.
01:46But yeah, me and my whole touring team, we all went out and had fun.
01:50We were, it was a really, really fun show.
01:51They like brought a cake out also, which was really cute.

01:59Probably Britney Spears' Slay For You performance.

02:02I feel like that, every time I think of the VMAs, that is like the, at the number one spot

02:07I love that for Britney because she's my favorite artist.
