00:00And of course, the Major League Baseball postseason takes center stage tomorrow.
00:04Two o'clock, I believe, will be your first game with Philadelphia and Atlanta.
00:10And sure enough, Lozardo, who pretty much took the final, what, three weeks off, four
00:17weeks off there in September because of the arm issue there.
00:22And while he's good enough to start game one in a short series against Chris Sale, and
00:29look at that total there, Craig, six and a half here is what, welcome to playoff baseball
00:36advantage Atlanta because they're a, you know, $1.85 to $2 favorite in the market right now
00:43over these Phillies.
00:46Yeah, I think that's correct.
00:48I think, you know, Sale, Sale is, they said, Atlanta, I don't know what's going to happen.
00:55I'm going to pick Atlanta to win this series.
00:57But after this series, I'm not really sure what's going to happen to the Braves, but
01:00they are set up so nicely.
01:03I think here in this series, the Phillies had to just fight every single second, Joe, just
01:08to get here.
01:10And the other part of this too, for Philadelphia is I'd love to say, well, you know, they got
01:14hot at the right time and it, Joe, they needed, they didn't even, they won one game to get
01:18in the playoffs.
01:19They won Sunday and okay, they're in like, that was it, you know, and the game really didn't
01:23even mean anything to Tampa Bay.
01:24So this is the only series of them all that I think that provided the Braves win tomorrow
01:33afternoon, they win the series.
01:35Because I don't see the Braves losing twice to Philadelphia.
01:38That I don't see.
01:40And Sale's been just so good, Joe.
01:42Like he is, he's, he's as hot or hotter than any pitcher going into the postseason.
01:47So the only downside to this, and I don't know how we get this figured out, is we go
01:53through an entire season of regular season baseball and very few times on a Wednesday
01:59or a Thursday, are we talking baseball during the day?
02:02And somehow this playoff game is at 2, 10 tomorrow.

02:07Yeah.
02:08It's a wild card.
02:08We can't get this game on.
02:10Like, am I crazy, Joe?
02:11Maybe they got to stagger it a little bit or just, if we have to have all the games on

02:17But I feel really bad for fans of these two teams because these, this is like really
02:22good teams and good fan bases, Atlanta and Philly.
02:25And we got this game 2, 10 tomorrow and Wednesday, by the way.

02:32Well, there is a lot of similarities between these two teams.
02:35I mean, listen, the Braves hit 2, 34 during the season.
02:39The Phillies 2, 40.
02:41The Phillies walked more than the Braves did.
02:45But the Phillies, all the Braves hit more home runs than the Phillies did, 204 to 182.
02:52What an under-the-radar year Matt Olsen had, by the way.
02:5541 dingers for them.
02:57And you almost never heard his name throughout the season.
03:00But listen, home runs matter in the postseason.
03:04The long ball matters, especially in these short formats and with the level of pitching
03:09and everything else, you're not going to have as much manufacturing of runs, so to speak,
03:14Craig, which is why home runs matter so much in the postseason here.
03:19But, you know, Atlanta is, outside of Schwarber, Atlanta feels like they have more guys that
03:25can, with one swing, end your season.
03:29Yeah, and look, to Phillies' credit, I don't want to take anything away from them.
03:32They still have Bryce Harper, and they still have Turner.
03:34They have a really good offense on paper.
03:37But when you are last in scoring runs in the month of September in Major League Baseball,
03:41and you think all of a sudden, because that's what the Phillies were, and you think all of
03:44a sudden, this is just going to start now, back up?
03:47I am not buying that.
03:49So, I'm not sure how far Atlanta goes, but Joe, I will pick the Braves to win this series.
03:56I don't know if it'll be in two or three.
03:59I'm happy, by the way, for Don Mattingly, that the season didn't end yesterday.
04:03That would have been an awful ending for Philly, to be so bad at the beginning, come back and
04:08play so great, and then have an awful September and get knocked out by Arizona.
04:12But the Phillies did get in.
04:14They'll say that they have the postseason.
04:15They would have had a big advantage, I think, playing at home in front of those fans with
04:20Red October.
04:22That's a really tough place to play.
04:24But they didn't get that, Joe.
04:25They didn't get a home game.
04:26They had to sneak in.
04:28They got Lizardo going.
04:30I mean, who the heck knows with Wheeler?
04:32Who the heck knows with Nola?
04:33They threw Nola in there, Joe, on short rest.
04:35He got bombed.
04:37I don't know.
04:38I don't see Philly winning the series.
04:40I don't see Atlanta.
04:42But I don't love Atlanta either.

04:45And by the way, the Braves literally sat everybody on Sunday against Miami.
04:50Everybody's nice and rested.
04:51Everybody's healthy.
